WTF! I heard they are taking one more and are waiting on either Van Lith or Clark to finish the class off. Say what you want about Graves but the dude is a hell of a recruiter.

Well, that "one more" might also be Minyon Moore from USC. Raoul tweeted that she is visiting Oregon this weekend. Dominos sure are falling in Oregon's favor. Parrish (#11) > Dugalic (#22) > Paopao (#40) > Scherr (#23) > Watson (#18) They could end up being the No. 1 recruiting class in the Nation for 2020. P.S. Notre Dame recruited Watson heavily, so after losing another recruiting battle, they REALLY want Clark more than ever now.

Great players want to play with other great players. Right now Oregon has the number 1 class in the country and it may be attractive for one of them to join it. A couple of months ago I would not have given them a chance, but I didn't expect them to get commits from 5 top 40 players. Hopefully OSU gets one of them and the other leaves the conference.

It will be interesting to see who the final commit is for Oregon in 2020. It might happen very quickly, what with Minyon Moore visiting the Ducks this weekend. Another high level recruit may jump fast to grab the last available slot that is still open. The pressure to commit and join the bandwagon may be peaking right now.

The ducks are having an outstanding recruiting year, and yes, I hate that. I've said all along that I thought the Beavs would prevail in being the better program in the long run, and although looking at a recruiting class like that does hurt the confidence a bit, I still think the Beavs will end up with the best program over the next 5-10 years. I really like a couple of duck recruits in particular, but if they do sign those 5, along with the 3 they signed last year, there will definitely be a few that do not get minutes and will end up transferring. That doesn't mean it is a bad thing for their program, in fact, we've already seen it start with the exodus last year. Notre Dame, UConn, Lousiville, all lose girls to transfers. It's a little sad for the girls though because often they are given promises that aren't kept (I'm not talking Oregon in particular, because I don't know Graves and team that well). On twitter, you will see some of the leading coaches, etc challenging these girls to diligently seek the right fit in the first place, rather than to go for the glitz and glory or fall for false promises. It's a very though decision for these young girls.
I will say I like the way SR and crew recruit. They go after a specific type of player that will fit in their family atmosphere. How well that works with top recruits remains to be seen, but SR made a winner out of the Beavs without landing those top recruits, and I don't doubt the Beavs will continue to have success. This was the year that most of us had our recruiting hopes pretty high....Bueckers, Van Lith, Daniels, Goforth, Clark, Ware, Brink,....and I could keep going, all listened to the Beavs this year, but so far, none of them have committed to the Beavs. That is discouraging, only in that, the process is slow. I don't know if any of those girls will sign with the Beavs, but I am certain that 2-4 girls will sign this year, and that the team will keep rolling for years to come.

Oregon's impressive recruiting success came as a surprise to me. Maybe to Graves as well. Very few coaches bring in a class like he has in the works - not in their entire career. Graves never has, neither has Rueck.
If all these players who verballed actually sign on the dotted line, Oregon has enough basketball talent to remain a National Power for the foreseeable future... The good news for Beaver Nation is that it's still May. Lots of time for the prospects Coach hopes to land will land.
If even half the players the Beavs currently want, and are really chasing, end up at OSU the Beavs will remain a basketball power for the foreseeable future.
This collection of talent at both schools is going to make for the hottest WBB rivalry in the nation....I can tell you right now that when individual game tickets go on sale for the Civil War game in Gill they will be gone faster than Sabrina can throw a tantrum.
Personally, I'm excited as hell about the upcoming season...I wish the Ducks weren't flying so high right now, but I say bring it on Duckies. The Beavs are here, and we're here to stay....
GO BEAVS !!

I hope they take Moore because she's a head case and I can predict immediate personality clashes between her and their current queen bee. BTW Notre Dame just picked up Stanford's Marta Sniezek off the transfer portal www.ndinsider.com/basketball/womens/notre-dame-women-s-basketball-picks-up-another-grad-transfer/article_e216a721-66f1-57d2-8855-f95201e04c95.htmlAlways was impressed by her game. Glad she transferred out of conference - and glad the daffys didn't get her.

Obviously, Graves is recruiting at a very elite level, a level that Rueck has never been to. Graves has already added five projected 5* players all of which are top-50 players. I think 2019 was the first time in program history Rueck has brought in more than one 5* recruit. It is painful to watch them recruit at such a high level and watch them get everyone who steps on campus, but it is what it is. Would be devastating of Goforth chooses Arkansas IMO. Would also be very upsetting if we don’t get HVL or Clark.

I think she and Sabrina are very good friends. Sometimes being teammates tests "friendship" to the breaking point. And I'm not sure Sabrina really has "teammates", just her supporting cast.

It's not Graves....it's our own Mark Campbell! It’s Mark Campbell and Xavi Lopez. Will be interesting to see what happens if Campbell gets a head coach job elsewhere after this season..... And don’t underestimate the Sabrina effect. The press she and the ducks get, plus getting to the Final Four, plays a big part in their recruiting.
