Just watched Lily's sophomore highlights. She is in the mold of Sydney Wiese ... size, catch and release on the three's ( very high per-centage of 'makes' ) and moves well without the ball , always looking for an opening to drive or cast off from beyond the arc !
Plus, just like Syd - she is a lefty !
Would be a great addition !

Arizona adds 2022 #7 Maya Nnaji, a 6-4 forward from Minnesota. Just saw that. They now have now landed #7 Maya Nnaji and #18 Kailyn Gilbert. Pac-12 recruiting class for 2022 is an all out war! |

The Sleeping Giant is no longer sleeping...
Several on this Board have been predicting that Arizona (and Barnes) were going to make a big splash in the next few years.
Well, it looks like the next few years are now here.....
The PAC is looking stronger and stronger.....No wonder Trakh bailed....
Shifting gears: Is the team practicing, or running drills, at Gill? I'm totally out of the loop on what the team is doing, as a team, nowadays.
Or are they doing nothing as a team......Thanks for the help....

Yep the team is currently working out. As for recruiting...
Right now the Pa-12 has 4 of the top 10, and 6 of the top 18 2022's committed.

This is based purely off speculation, but I believe that it’s only a matter of time before Lily Hansford commits to the Beavs!

Have to admit I have not been following Lily H., so really have no educated opinion of her game. However, I noted one interesting thing in looking at some of the rankings: she is the # 2 rated player on her own h.s. team!!
Her teammate Emily LaChapell, is the #1 rated player in the state of Wisconsin....
They must have a pretty damn strong team to have the #1 and #3 ranked players in the state on the same team....
Just throwing this out for the heck of it while I'm sweating out the Beaver baseball game with Arizona....

From what I’ve heard, we should hear an announcement on the end this week I'm a big fan of Lily Hansford's game. For me, it's a matter of style of play, and how she fits in with the Oregon State system. If she does choose the Beavs, she'll be joining a very talented group, so we'll have to see how all the peices fit. Lily and Adlee would make quite shooting duo. Before Katie left, there appeared to be some inroads between the Beavs and a couple other highly ranked 2022's. If we hear positive recruitng news this week, I'm guessing 2022 will be wrapped up. beaverwbb fan, are you hearing anything differently? |
