BeaverWBBfan, Do we know if Hansford has actually been offered? Seeing some of her stories lately on Instagram lead me to believe she wants to commit to OSU, but I'm not sure if she has a commitable offer currently. She's been reposting things from the team a LOT the last week or so. If you take a look at the link below, it contains our recruiting status with every *known* recruit. It lists Lily as receiving an offer from the beavs in July of 2020. wbbblog.com/oregon-state-womens-basketball-recruiting/2/

Lily shows a ton of interest in the Beavs, and Katie definitely shows friendship with Lily as well. Whether or not the Beavs want to add another player to this class is a good question. I can see them waiting for 2023 to add anyone else.
Lily seems to favor the Beavs, but she also seems to have strong interest in Marquette, and most recently Utah looks to be a team to watch. You have to wonder if players are concerned with the direction of Utah's program though. As much as I think she really loves the Beavs, I'm going to guess she does not end up a Beaver. I do think she is better than a lot of programs think she is. It will be interesting to see if she adds muscle.

I don't know why the Beavs wouldn't take a 4th in this class if the right player wanted to commit. In 2021, we'll have 5 freshmen (Sasha, Jelena, Savannah, Talia, and Greta), 2 sophomores(Taylor and Kennedy - not counting Noelle), 2 juniors (Taya and Jasmine) and an unknown number of seniors. Unless I've missed somebody, that's only 9 coming back in 2023. Could take Lily (or somebody else) and still have but 13 on the squad.

This could end up being a possible recruit to track: www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/31302020/15-uncommitted-women-college-basketball-prospects-watch-summerG Elle Ladine Pinewood High School (California) espnW rating: Four stars Ladine is about as fundamentally sound as a player can get. She is a big guard with a broad frame who can shoot it from all over, pass the ball, see the floor very well and can handle it well enough to get to her spots. She decision-making, efficiency and leadership abilities make her a strong point guard who, in turn, can make her teammates better. She has a skill set reminiscent of Oregon State's Aleah Goodman. Many schools from the Pac-12 are pursuing her.

I respect your analysis and input , but watching just one of her videos from 2020, it appears to me that she is a SG and she does not really seem to be able to hit her shots very consistently . I think she was just a sophomore ! Love the energy, but expected a lot more from the description . Looks like she has offers from Pacific and Santa Clara, so far !

Not my analysis or input -- that was Shane Laflin's -- the espnW's lead recruiting evaluator. She appears to have switched club teams and her new team does not report offers, but it appears UCLA is showing a lot of interest and Stanford and OSU had called one of their clubs 2022 recruits back in September/October. Will be interesting to see if OSU takes a fourth 2022 recruit.

Thank you for the clarification. Would love to see another Aleah or Kat , so we can change pace during the game and play the hot hand ! Talia looks like she can fill both roles and is pretty darn consistent on her shots from everywhere on the floor ! Greta could be the same type of player, but both ( Greta more than Talia due to exposure to D1 speed and competitive talent), The UW pick up; AJ commitment switch, and the one year transfer/ Adams , appear to be good to go in any role. However, injuries have really taken a toll on our team the last couple of years, or so - and all it takes is one injury to your top ten to totally throw off the game plan and execution ! i know that playing time is a big deal - but I prefer depth and spacing minutes out with some strong contingencies ! Look at AIZONA and their approach ! That is what we need !

I have a feeling that once the new coaches are on board, we will see some official visits set up during June (supposedly NCAA recruiting "periods" are going back to normal by then). My guess is that our current commits, Tamia, Adlee, and Raegan will visit along with anyone else the Beavs have real interest in for the 2022 class. It does look like they are still looking at additional 2022 possibilities.

I didn’t see any others, so I’m guessing Lily is the top 2022 recruit now on our radar.

A few weeks back, Katie had started following a couple highly regarded 2022's. I know one of them had previously announced a final 6, or 8, but then her and Katie started following each other, so I'm not sure her final 6 was really final. Whatever the case, it's going to be more difficult to get social media hints without Brian and Katie. I'm really curious about Lily. It seems the Beavs are still very interested. I wonder if SR has been her main recruiter, or if Katie/Brian were her main contacts. She's very active with 'likes' of Beaver players Instagram pics.

I've noticed similar with Lily on twitter/instagram. With her engagement I assumed maybe she had a non-commitable offer, but perhaps its as simple as wanting to take the in-person visit before she pulls the trigger. Everything you see reading the tea leaves on social media suggests OSU is a CLEAR leader.

wbosh15, I thought the Beavs were the clear leader as well, but then when I looked at other programs she is following, she seems to like all their instagram photos as well. She's one girl who is very active at 'likes' on Instagram. I tend to think the Beavs may lead, but I'm not sure how the move by Katie and Brian may play into that. I like Lily's game and think she would be great for this program, but there are other players out there as well.
