We are doing great except for one small thing. Who's going to be giving Talia some rest time? Greta. She talks about it here:

Any thoughts on whether we pick up another 2022 (like Lily Hansford, 6-2 shooting guard)? The 2022-2023 Roster could be very full if Taya and Jasmine both stay with the team (I count 14 in that case, also counting Noelle, but not counting Andrea, who would be our 15th if she still has a counting scholarship).

It's not so much a question of scholarships as it is of available playing time.
Assuming health (OSU has had bad luck in this regard the last few years), the Beavers 2022-23 could include:
Simmons (1 remaining year of eligibility at that point) Corosdale (1) Jones (2) Brown (2) Goforth (3) Samuel (3) Von Oelhoffen (3) Kampschroeder (3) Gardiner (4) Beers (4) Blacklock (4)
That's a lot of people to beat out for playing time. Especially if you are a wing.

I would be completely content with sealing off our 2022 class. ESPN’s #4 Timea Gardiner, #10 Raegan Beers, and a highly slept on Adlee Blacklock. That’s almost more than you could hope for in terms of talent for one class.
Personally I’d like to see the coaching staff save the scholarships (I know we have room) and playing time for Amari Whiting and Addy Brown in 2023. Would love to land those two individuals!

I really think Timea's commitment helps the Beavs with Amari. Timea and Amari are good friends. Amari's Dad congratulated Timea on her commitment calling her "T". Of course, just being friends isn't always enough. It didn't seem to work when I thought the Beavs had the inside track for Payton Verhulst.

It would really surprise me to see a fourth signee in the class. SR likes to keep the roster to 11 or 12, and he also seems to like to have an extra slot in his pocket for a transfer or foreign player, if a good one appears. When he's signed four or more, it has always been when we were thin.
But if the right player appears . . .

There's a big difference between getting a lot of talent in house and piecing it together, vs. getting elite talent that are a targeted fit. We see UO's struggles this year, and saw our own struggles utilizing Destiny well within SR's system. Players fitting the system and team construct is why SR has been able to make deep tourney runs with players that wouldn't compete near that well based on recruiting rankings alone - they make for a good collective fit.
If these recruits fit together as well as previous SR teams, then it's no longer orange-tinted glasses to see them becoming an NC-level team.

Rueck is better than most at coaching up his players. The whole is better than the individual pieces.

BeaverWBBfan, Do we know if Hansford has actually been offered? Seeing some of her stories lately on Instagram lead me to believe she wants to commit to OSU, but I'm not sure if she has a commitable offer currently. She's been reposting things from the team a LOT the last week or so.
