Thanks for getting that picture. She looks very familiar, but I can't figure out why. I can see why someone mentioned Wolfenbarger, because there are some similar features with Jersey. I just realized while trying to figure out who this is, that in almost every picture of Jersey, she is smiling.
While hoping beavershoopsfan, or someone else will get us details on who may have been at the game, it's worth mentioning that this is the time transfers, and recruiting really heats up. There are often numerous official visits that take place in May, and it's interesting to note March is when a lot of players hit the transfer portal. Last year (2019) 509 players entered the transfer portal between March 7th and July 31st, with 286 of those happening between 3/7, and 4/5. Might this be the year the Beavs go after a transfer? I wouldn't be surprised, although if they are looking for help next season, we'd most likely be looking at a grad transfer.
Not knowing when Kennedy may return, or knowing how good Jelena may be, or if AA will ever play, would the Beavs look big? Not knowing if Destiny will return, and knowing the team has been injury riddled that last couple years, would the Beavs be looking at transfers to beef up the guard/wing positions? We may be hearing more rumors the next couple months.

FWIW, Chiawana was 2 and out at State and von Oelhoffen struggled in both games.

I'm hoping they can get some official visits set up for May. May is a pretty busy month for these girls though, so it may not work out. Jersey will be in Colorado for the U17 national trials.

I’m guessing Payton will be as well, given her success on the U16 team. Kampschroeder (who is too old for U17) and Goforth may try out for U18 depending on invites and other circumstances. Jersey seems the least far along the recruiting process, which makes sense given that she received a TON of offers over the span of about May 2019 - recently. Greta has been down to three schools for quite a while, and has taken unofficials to all three. I get the sense she is close to a decision. Perhaps the home visit (which will be Friday, 3/13) can seal the deal. |

I agree, I think it was Adalia McKenzie, a 5'10" SG from Minnesota. Could be the next Destiny Slocomb, as she gets to the bucket and finishes with regularity. Has a nice outside 3 pt. stroke, and is a tireless worker, averaged 31 ppg. this year.

You guys may very well be right, but I didn't think the pictures looked similar. There's also no evidence any of our coaches are following Adalia on twitter, and she's not following any of the coaches. Would love to hear what others think though.
