It has been pretty quiet when it comes to hearing much about OSU's recruiting of Talia von Oelhoffen...I have no idea where the Staff has prioritized her recruitment...
She seems to have a lot of sparkle to her game, but she has been playing (up to this year) in a league where a little light can shine bright....
I don't know how she has fared in AAU ball - maybe someone can fill us in on that....
At any rate, her upcoming junior year will certainly give OSU's recruiting staff a better sense of her talent level, her defensive prowess, and her overall game....
I'd be interested in learning more about her if anyone has been keeping tabs on her.....

The BeaverWBB account just began following a few more players on Instagram: Payton Verhulst, Jersey Wolfenbarger, Greta Kampschroeder, and Talia von Oelhoffen - can’t go wrong with any of them...that’s for sure. Verhulst is probably my favorite of the bunch, but they’re all terrific players and would make great Beavs.
Awak Kuier, the Finnish phenom is also possibly a 2021. She’s likely the top player in the world in 2020/21 classes, so whether or not she chooses the college route remains to be seen! The staff has appeared to have been tracking her down for a while now.
2022 news, but 6-7 #1 Lauren Betts was also recently followed. Not sure what her interest is like in the Beavs, but hopefully she will take notice in the development of Trish, Jelena, Taylor, etc.
Definitely confirmed mutual interest in the first four 2021s.

Looks like we'll see Jersey Wolfenbarger on campus sometime in the next couple of months:
Greta will be on campus next weekend, and whether or not Talia is planning on visiting remains unknown (she is the only target that Adam from 247 does not appear to be in touch with).

It was a great opportunity to have someone visit for this game, and it's good to see it happened. Seeing the talent of our young bigs, and that our guards are upperclassmen, should also be helpful.

2021 Macie James visited today..........I've seen her listed from 5'9" to 5'11" two guard from Fresno. Name to Addias 2019 USA Select team along with Talia von Oelhoffen. Has an offer from Washington State among others.

I read this and am curious, would she come here if offered? She's been in her sister's shadow her entire life. College is an opportunity to blaze her own path. With that being said, a pass first PG would fit right in with the amount of talent on offense we have. |
