Anyone else think Lauren Ware resembles a current member of the OSU WBB team? I can’t help but think it looking at that picture.

Looks as if ND high school basketball has a 30-second shot clock. It was one of the first states to adopt the 3-point shot too.

Meghan really liked the Beavs, but Michigan is a great offer for her. She's a really good player, but I'm guessing for the Beavs, she was plan B. The Beavs are in on so many talented 2020 guards, I would feel a lot better if they could get an early commitment out of one of them. WE know the Beavs wanted a guard for 2019, but lost out on both Kemery Martin and Jazmin Shelly. Landing an early commitment for a 2020 guard would be nice.

Better there than to UW or WSU.

I'm with HS on this one....The Puget Sound produces quite a bundle of WBB talent every year... .The Huskies have already got a verbal from the best prospect (sorry, forget her name, but I think the Beavs would gladly have taken her)..... UW is not a program bounding toward the top 3 or 4 in the Pac - but if they reeled in the best local talent they would have a good shot at it... So, if Megan Fiso really is a top flight prospect I'd just as soon see her fly away to Michigan.....
GO BEAVS !! (Beat Cal)

2020 G Meghan Fiso, West Seattle HS, committed to Michigan today. Not ranked in the ESPN top 60. A 3*? Correct, but a 4-star ranked #36 by ProspectsNation. I believe, following the typical trend, that for espnW, the 2020 class rankings will change ~3 more times, one being another revision of the Super 60 and then the next two will be Top 100. 2019 Top 100 should be evaluated once more.

I really hope a recruit or two were at the game tonight. This was the perfect atmosphere to be hosting one + a huge upset win. I would have a hard time not committing on the spot if I were one! Regardless, below is a link to a video where OSU target Caitlin Clark discusses her recruitment. She lists Oregon, Oregon State, Iowa, Notre Dame, Iowa State, Texas, and Florida as her main schools. I sure would like to have that one on board! She mentions playing right away as a big factor in her decision and will likely decide after AAU and before HS. Given that we will have just three guards (if Slocum even decides to stay) on the roster, immediate playing time shouldn’t be too much of a problem for a player of her caliber, even if it is at times off the ball for a season. www.desmoinesregister.com/videos/sports/high-school/recruiting/2019/02/18/watch-dowling-catholic-mega-talent-caitlin-clark-discusses-her-recruitment/2909824002/

She's 5'10 or 5'11, and can certainly shoot well enough to play the off guard, or even the wing at times.

Tonight's game, and the great presentation and props to Gill and our crowd by ESPN, was a two-hour commercial for OSU women's hoops. Even with the annoying shots of all things SI.
