I visit this thread just to see if there are any updates on Goforth, Clark, Beuckers, Van Lith, etc. I ignore the rest. Definitely. The actual recruiting info for wbb on this board is outstanding.

The Connecticut fans seem convinced that HVL has it down to the Beav's and the Huskies. It's not clear to me that they have any reason to think that, but I hope Hailey comes here, she's just flat out fun to watch play.
And Paige is an amazing player and has a great sense of humor that's fun to watch.
And Clark has a real down to earth style about her play that is very appealing.
Ahhh, choices choices.

Beavs staff will be heading out to North Dakota tomorrow to check out 6-4 Post Lauren Ware. Ranked #38 Overall and #4 Post by ESPN. Bismarck Century is Carson Wentz's high school. Also the Steiner brothers of Iowa wrestling fame, who also coached at OSU.

A little more on Ware, who is expecting the OSU coaches at her game (I think today?): She is ranked #38 and #13 by Hoopgurlz and ProspectsNation respectively, and they have her as the #4 and #3 posts, so she is a consensus top-5 2020 post at this point. She hails from North Dakota and attends Bismarck Century HS where she excels on the volleyball court as well. She was the ND Gatorade POY as a sophomore. Below is a highlight. She is clearly a very versatile, skilled post. Hudl: 2017-18 ND GPOY Lauren Ware

A 2020 International prospect to keep an eye on will be Emily Bessoir. A 6’4” German who can play the 3 or 4 (similar to Sabally for tsdtr). One service has her as the top international 2020. She has really close ties to the Sabally sisters, especially the younger, so I’m sure they will recruit her heavily. One report says she’s “UConn good”. Followed by BH and KTF on Instagram.
She does follow Gulich on instagram. Hopefully she was impressed with how OSU brought the Germ along!

Does anyone know if the staff is still recruiting TeHina PaoPao. She is the 5’9” PG from La Jolla Country Day in California, Kelsey Plum’s alma mater? She is ranked 14th by Prospects Nation, but not in ESPN’s (who has not evaluated her since May 2016) top 60. She doesn’t appear to play on the Adidas or Nike AAU circuit and that is where a lot of the evaluations happen. The staff went to see her in 2017, but she has fallen extremely under the radar since. She also had an ACL injury in late 2016. I have heard nothing on her recruiting.
Her team took Cam Brink’s Southridge squad into OT. She had 26 points and 10 rebounds and shot 60+% from the field.

I don't have any hard facts on her recruitment, but I'm pretty sure the coaches are following her and keeping in contact. 2020 recruiting is going to be interesting. I am really hoping the Beavs get some of their top prospects to commit early. I'm guessing they will sign 4 in the 2020 class with the most likely outcome be 2-3 guards, one wing, and one big forward, but if they lose out on a couple of their top choices, it could change the look of the class. I would think guards/wings would be a priority, after signing four bigs the last two seasons.

One name I thought there was a possibility of becoming a member of the 2020 recruiting class was #11 Sydney Parrish. A few coaches follow her on social media, but her top 7 included UCLA, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Oregon, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

One of the more interesting names to keep an eye on: Awak Kuier. I believe Kuier is a 2020, but am not 100% sure. Anyways, a 6’4/6’5 dunking phenom out of Finland. Followed by @beaverwbb on instagram + tsdtr, UCLA, and Oregon. She will be a big time prospect.

The article is rather thin on actual basketball information......heavy on human interest info....Caitlain looks like an impressive solid citizen who would be a great asset to the Beaver program.... She attends a Catholic High School but I did not see any mention of Notre Dame in the article...Hard to think they are not chasing her seriously.... As much as anything, the article reminds us that OSU is now a National Program, that it is viewed as a destination for great players who can play system basketball with a team-first philosophy dedicated to defence...(P.S.: A lot of great high school players can't or won't).
Hopefully, the acclaim that Coach Rueck has earned will yield big time recruiting dividends in 2020 because the program now has lofty ambitions - the accomplishments that 5 years ago defined a great season are now expected every season......
GO BEAVS !!

I agree. Would have been nice to learn a little more about other schools she has considered/is visiting.
