Sadly can't take her to the Trail Blazer game...NCAA rules. The weather is great in Corvallis and the town should be shown off very well. This girl is very talented and would be a nice start to the class of 2020 recruiting class.

It's too bad Aleah and Destiny won't be there, as they are two of our best ambassadors, and two team members she might get to play with if she signs with the Beavs.

The weather is beautiful, it's Mom's Weekend so campus will be buzzing, and there's a home baseball series. Harmonic convergence. It's also Pet Day. So much stuff happening on campus.

Sasha would/will definitely play with Jazz and maybe Kat too if Kat gets a medical redshirt.

I've also heard that Maddie is a really good representative.

Per this article, Goforth has eliminated Texas A&M, and is down to Arkansas and OSU, but that was the though all along: "The 6-0 guard is rated the No. 4 guard and No. 21 overall prospect in the nation for the 2020 class according to ESPN and has 30 scholarship offers. But Goforth has narrowed the field to Arkansas and Oregon State and expects to make a decision soon."

Man this is one to get sweating over. Dynamic player and just what the coach loves playing for him! What a amazing battle for one young special lady. She will make someone a great addition, hope it’s our beavers.

From the Arkansas forum: "From what I'm hearing if she goes with her gut its Oregon State, if she listens to her heart and others its Arkansas. Take it FWIW..." Be smart Sasha, follow your gut!

Why would she listen to her heart or go with her gut ? In my opinion, she like any other human, has a strong mind and intellect to drive her decision. Going with your heart can lead to many big disappointments. Going with your gut, can also lead you astray. She will , and should make her decision based on her own analysis of the situation... mostly , ' where can I be happy, and where can I absolutely improve every area of my life and future'. There should be a checklist and we all know who doesn't 'promise', and consistently delivers, year after year. That is Scott Rueck and Staff. Just get some references - from ANYONE ! Go through your due diligence.

Sasha's gut is telling her what is best for her!!! Following your gut (instinct, intuition) is trusting yourself!! Pick Oregon State! "Your intuition arises as a feeling within your body that only you experience. Because the feeling is so personal, no one else can weigh in to tell you if you're in touch with your gut instinct or not. You alone have to make the call. Because of this, trusting your intuition is the ultimate act of trusting yourself.. .Listening to your intuition helps you avoid unhealthy relationships and situations. Throughout your life, many people will have ideas about what’s best for you, some held with good intentions and some coming from a place of deceitful, harmful, selfish intent. It’s sometimes hard to tell which category someone falls into, but if you put aside all of those external opinions and instead listen to the advice of your own intuition, it will guide you to what is truly best for you. ." source: www.joinonelove.org/learn/yes-trust-gut-heres/

I hope Sasha’s intuition is better than mine. The history of my intuition is similar to the old adage that good judgement comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgement. Some people do not need the last step.

Really outstanding. Great day for basketball.
On another note, the posts on the Goforth recruiting have kept my blood pressure up for months. Tense. Thanks to everybody for the great recruiting info.

As you know, I have repeatedly said I thought she would commit to us, but it is certainly a load off that she finally has. Thanks to beavsteve for getting that info out to us so quickly - it's not on hoopgurlz or prospect nation yet.
Hopefully, getting this first commitment from a 2020 five star will start a domino effect, and those who have been waiting or on the fence will also announce for us. I remain confident about Van Lith, even more so now that she can plainly see that the program is going to continue to be one of the nation's best.
