I live in the Spokane area now. EWU has some excellent players and good size. They will be a handful for the Beavers.
Beers should be the difference. I do not believe they have someone that can handle her.
What is of concern to me is that it seems that virtually all the Beavers games are close contests that seem be decided one way or another by less than 8 points.
Go Beavs!

In October 2023 who would have thought that the words "Corvallis Regional" would be written/spoken in March 2024.
Congrats to a great OSU WBB team !

Well, the Beavers won 14 games by more than 8 points (most by a significantly larger margin). Five of those came in the Pac-12. Not saying that Eastern Washington is a team they should overlook but the Pac-12 is just at a different level.

How does their squad compare to last year. Some familiarity Lu is likely. Agree that EWU will be tough, they played Cal and Gonzaga very tough.

Beavers not playing in Portland but Greta Kampschroeder, Kennedie Brown and Taylor Jones might be, not that any of that excites me.

EWU lost by two points to the Zags in November, then later by eight to Cal. Closer to home, they thumped PSU by 24. The Beavs should definitely win this one, but EWU is not to be overlooked for sure. And sorry, but (me) as a New Yorker, why can't a national-level sports announcer on ESPN properly pronounce Albany? It's ALL-bany, not AL-bany (like the guy's name AL). I cringed the first time she hacked it at the top of the hour, but worse, no one corrected her - producers use that IFB earpiece where they can talk to the TV announcers during the show. She went on to hack the pronunciation at least five more times, so I guess pronunciation accuracy didn't matter to those in charge. I'm sure that many Oregonians noticed too, given that Albany, Oregon is pronounced the same as Albany, New York. Well, at least she didn't say Ore-GON - she got that one right instead.
My spouse just informed me that later in the show she did correct it, but still...

Notre Dame’s starting center (and former Oregon duck) Kylee Watson tore her ACL.
If we can get out of Corvallis, Notre Dame isn’t a terrible opponent.
