Get it done, Scott!

She is awfully good. There is a reason (several reasons) why she is ranked as the number one overall recruit for 2020 according to ProspectsNation and number 3 overall according to ESPN.
What a coup it would be if she chose OSU! She could learn SR's system, especially defense as a freshman, while backing up senior Destiny.

A credible source with contacts within the OSU program shared with me yesterday that Van Lith has informally narrowed her list of suitors to four. All four of her finalists, including Oregon State , finished their '17-'18 seasons in the Top 8 in the final coaches poll following the 2018 NCAA tournament. One of the other four is also a PAC-12 school. sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/basketball-women/polls/coaches-poll/

You definitely got good contacts bhf....đ Thanks for sharing...
If general West Coach basketball talent pattens hold true for Haley, the other 3 schools are probably Oregon, UCLA & Notre Dame...But, who knows??
...CWS Baseball and WBB recruiting - who knew late June could be so much fun....đ

Would be really surprised if UCONN wasnât in her final four. I donât believe Notre Dame has been recruiting her heavily. They are far more after Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark. Definitely would not rule out Stanford as a possibility.

Definitely would not rule out Stanford as a possibility. You are correct. Connecticut is among the four schools that she is considering. Notre Dame is not. Stanford was not among her final four schools under consideration, according to the Beavers WBB insider.

Would be really cool if we could keep her and Brink in the PNW! What a recruiting class that would be if SR could pull that off.
Just curious, has the âinsiderâ revealed anything about Rickea Jackson?

Even if we don't land her it is a positive sign that players of her caliber are seriously considering OSU.

More good info....Thanks for posting it...
I'm kinda surprised that UCONN is in Haley's final group.. I believe UCONN wants her, but to me it just seems a stretch that a small town girl from Cashmere WA would pack up and head to New England for 4 years.. Yeah, I know it's possible. Yeah, I know it's a shrinking world. Still, it just seems a stretch - especially if she comes from a hands-on basketball family...She's in Corvallis when she doesn't need to be....That sticks with me...
Obviously this is all conjecture on my part. I don't know her family or any of her basketball connections...But UCONN seems like a long stretch to me. GO BEAVS

Just curious, has the âinsiderâ revealed anything about Rickea Jackson? Nope. I haven't heard about real mention of a recruitment connection between Rickea Jackson and Oregon State? Is that simply wishful thinking on behalf of Beaver Nation or has anyone on this board seen a recruitment link between Jackson and the Beavs on the internet or on social media?

My WAG for her final 4 would be UCONN, OSU, Oregon, and Louisville. Louisville is an odd choice, but so would South Carolina and Mississippi State. Of course one could substitute UCLA for Oregon.

More on Van Lith from those who saw her compete during the OSU team camp.... She apparently had to leave a day or so early due to her commitments with the Team USA 3-on-3 group. Reports are that her ball handling skill and passing ability are elite and she has grown considerably stronger physically over the past year. One observer commented that her relatively strong legs allow her to spin effectively into and out of body contact with her defender. Her outside shot remains a work in progress, probably at least in part because she seems to have an ability to drive to where she wants to drive on the court and tends to seek better percentage shots against this level of competition. Listed now by several evaluating services as 5'9", one observer stated that she was the same height (5'7") as Destiny Slocum when they appeared together.
Surprisingly, Van Lith was defeated in the camp's one-on-one tournament. She feel victim to a fellow high school opponent who converted a number of twos (shots from beyond the arc are worth two and everything else is worth one point) while Van Lith wasn't close enough to defend her opponent.

It was reported by Adam Nicholson on Beaver Blitz that Rueck and his staff are zeroing in on Rickea Jackson, but havenât seen any connection personally, so I was wondering if you had heard anything!

I haven't read about OSU having a home visit with Rickea Jackson. The list below of Rickea's nine home visits earlier in 2018 was taken from the blog below. Rickea's Twitter site is attached below as well. A brief scan of her Twitter site did not reveal a connection to or visit by Oregon State. OSU's WBB coaching staff is very good at getting into homes for home visits, so perhaps Scott and/or his assistants did so clandestinely and it was not widely reported. Rickea Jackson (MI), espnW #9 â UCLA, Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas wbbblog.com/tag/2019-recruiting-class/twitter.com/iamthathooper?lang=en

With Owen committing to UCLA for 2019, Van Lith could find herself struggling for playing time for her first 3 years if she chose them. Here, she understudies Slocum for 1 year, and then runs the show for the next 3.
