Not Pac-12 but I am astonished at how Tennessee can anually bring in top prospects. Added #2 6-1G Jordan Hortson. They started 4 top 15 prospects and another in the 40s. Scott easily proved he is the better coach by handily defeating them despite a terrible shooting day. Once we start bringing in those caliber prospects.. WATCH OUT and were already starting to I didn't remember that the Beavs had shot "terribly" during that 66-59 win over Tennessee in the second round of the NCAA tourney in March. The Beavs actually shot fairly well (21/46 for 46%) from the field and very well (19/23 for 83%) from the free throw line in that game. You may be remembering the team's 5/19 (26%) performance from beyond the arc against Tennessee. However, overall the Beavs shot well in that game. It was their better (than Tennessee) shooting in that game that proved to be one of the primary reasons why the Beavers put that 57-game NCAA tournament home game winning streak for Tennessee to an end. The box score from that memorable game is accessible via the link below. osubeavers.com/boxscore.aspx?id=12642&path=wbball

Sorry — I was solely referring to our 3pt% when I said terrible shooting day. If I remember Tudor and Goodman both struggled from behind the arc which is rare for such high % shooters.

Just realized that with 4 graduating this year and already 4 2019s and 15 on the roster, UCLA may not have room for Kennedy Brown. I’m sure that if she does want to go there they will make space for her, but hopefully it will just narrow down to three. If we can’t get her, we always have Brink and Daniels in the 2020 class!

They will have Ionescu (permitting she doesnt leave), Hebard, Boley, Sabally, and a fifth starter. I think that lineup will be a favorite against most. Sure, UConn will have the players to beat them, but not the veterans that UO has. We too have the players to beat them without a doubt.

I too agree that Lucy Cochrane would be a great addition to this team. She looks to be a really good defender in a video of her I previously posted. Seems very mobile for 6-5 although a little raw on offense. These are the type of players Scott turns into stars. I was just saying that if we got to choose between Lucy Cochrane and Kennedy Brown and the other was going to Oregon, I’d take KB at this point.

Shelley is committing to Ducks. Cochrane not considering Beavs. They are friends so would not be surprised if Cochrane ends up with Ducks too although visiting South Carolina and others as well.

Well I sure do hope Cochrane commits to the Ducks before Kennedy Brown does. With Sabally redshirting to 2019, she and Cochrane would give them two bigs. Good luck with Shelley, nice player but we have the best Aussie.

So an Australian player leaves the uks (among 4 other upset transfers), another plays at OSU and they have all played together so one could assume they would have spoken about things with Shelly and she still chooses them. Maybe we dodged a bullet. I believe Cochrane was not offered by us although there was some early interest.

Cochrane seems to be more of a project than Taylor Jones or Kennedy Brown at this point, but she has potential and tons of mobility at 6’6”. That doesn’t always translate at tsdtr like it does here (at least 90% of the time IMO). I haven’t seen much of Shelley with the exception of the game vs. USA. I’m sure there are many Shelley’s in the 2020 class and we will get at least one great guard. She would be a great add but not the end of the world for the beavs! Looks like we are down to Kennedy Brown unless there is a surprise overseas we don’t know about.
