Breanna and Rickea both have twitter contact, and Coach KTB was at the Nike EYBL last week, as were hundreds of other coaches. They are both amazing players. It would be really cool to get them on official visits together. I was born in Detroit. Corvallis would be culture shot for Rickea. It's still fun to think about.
I do think we will see some girls in town on officials during August. Who they will be is yet to be seen. I still wonder if there is mutual interest between the Beavs and JaQuaya Miller.

I still like Kennedy. Right now we have TC as the only "big" of proven relevance. Jo will be gone. AA and PM are untested. And her good friend and sometimes teammate TJ is going here.

I donât think JaQuaya would be a necessary recruit, primarily if we are able to add Kennedy Brown, too. Adding her would possibly create a jam at the 4/5 with 5 players over 2 classes. I think a wing or combo guard would be more of a necessity at this point, then pick up one of the elite point guards in 2020

Coach KB was in Minsk for the recent U17 world cup and there are 3 i know we are chasing on the gold medal team, but there are a few great European prospects i am sure she was recruiting as well. They wont show up Hoopgurlz or PN so it will be interesting to see how that pans out. I believe there is an Aussie top recruit visiting soon as well.

Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith and Cameron Brink I would assume. If Brown commits, I think our chances with Brink plummet drastically, but typically (Russell, Nared, Reynolds, Westbrook) top Oregon recruits want to get out of Oregon anyways. I think our chances are most likely highest with Van Lith, but she seems to be pretty pro-Uconn. Although she wasnât a member of team USA, Caitlin Clark is in the same conversation as them. I like our chances with the 2020 class!

Iâm fully expecting Taylor Jonesâs rankings to drop when the next set of Prospects Nation and Hoopgurlz rankings are released. Given her injuries, she hasnât been active much and it seems as if that is enough to drop a players rankings. She will be ranked much lower than she actually would be if she was never injured by the time she signs. What a bummer it is that she is injured! Wouldâve enjoyed watching her play in Europe and I really think she could have made the USA U17 team which wouldâve been very exciting to watch. Regardless, I think she will make a very strong come back and I do believe she is a top 5 (at least) post in the class of 2019)

Valeria Trucco, one of the top ranked international players and Arizona 2018 signee, has instead decided to play for an Italy national team. Still a good class, but she was a major part of it

Coach Adia Barnes has been persistently adding talent to the U of A roster in her short tenure (starting her 3rd year)... This past season she signed the # 4 rated recruiting class in the Nation and #1 in the PAC..An impressive feat for a low achieving team.
The loss of Valeria Trucco will hurt as rmacarl points out, but she is not the only 5 star talent that Barnes is bringing in this season. Cate Reese, out of the seemingly bottomless Texas talent pool, is a MacDonald AA and the highest ranked recruit ever for U of A WBB....Semaj Smith at 6'6 is a highly rated post player out of Cal... They also have returning star in the making Sam Thomas, who displays an impressive set of offensive skills ....
So the Wildats are making noise....And they are doing what you must do if you want to contend: signing top rated players...
I don't really have a take on how good of a coach Adia Barnes really is. But she has all the markings of an impressive recruiter..And you cannot win without top players. Period. None of us will remember 5* Valeria Trucco at this time next year - but personally, as an OSU fan, I'm really glad that she is playing ball in Italy and not Tucson....
GO BEAVS!!

The top-ranked 2019 Prospect (by both Hoopgurlz and Prospects Nation) Haley Jones 6-1 W has a final 5 of STANFORD, Notre Dame, OREGON, UConn, and South Carolina. I wonder if we recruited her

Concerning Haley Jones: Has a National top 10 player from California EVER gone to South Carolina? It's not impossible, but somehow it seems like quite a stretch to me unless she has close personal connections.
If she truly has the academics to get into Stanford she's a pretty bright kid.. Stanford & Notre Dame have stratospheric benefits both in basketball and professional life following graduation. Oregon has proven that they will use the Star System - and most stars are intrigued by that possibility.. Like him or not Graves is a good coach, though certainly not the best in his own state...đđ
Whoever signs her will immediately become a better, stronger team...If you can envision a 6'1 Hailey Van Lith you got a feel for Haley Jones. This is not a completely fair comparison, but it's close enough to convey the idea of Jones' talent level.... GO BEAVS !!

She has already been admitted to Stanford. She plays for the same AAU team as Ionescu and their coach Kelly Sopak seems to lovr Oregon. Hopefully that doesnât play a role. I would have liked her here she is the definition of a point forward.

A few Pac-12 things:
First off Kayla Overbeck, a junior transfer from Vanderbilt, was granted immediate eligibility at USC. Gives them a much needed post presence despite being undersized at 6â1â. They also have Mariya Moore, older sister of Minyon Moore, who will be eligible after transferring from Louisville. They will be very talented this year, but we will have to see if all this talent can translate into wins.
Second off, Oregon has an official visitor this weekend, Kaelynn Satterfield a 6â0â wing from NY ranked #39. What is interesting about this is that they did not make her top 5. UO likes to do this kinda stuff
