Won the series. That's the objective. Today was disappointing but if the Pac-12 is as tough as we want it to be, so we can get a national seed by finishing first or second, then road sweeps should be very infrequent. PS: Unless they are going to Team USA, where innings are minimal, most OSU pitchers do not play summer-league baseball, and haven't for quite some time. Wholly incorrect Batman... you think college pitchers are done at the end of their college season... really? Who pitches in the numerous summer leagues... position players? Lol I'll only point out random years... 2008 cuz I was present that summer in a locale that had many Pac12 players including pitchers. But, here are the OSU arms that pitched summer ball. Feel free to look at the last 10 summers, pretty easy to find... The ones I can remember without looking... WCCB... Sitton, Starr, Osich North Woods... Grbavac Cape Cod... Peavy, Reyes 2017... Cape Cod... Britton, Donovan Gaviglio, Nygren, Gorton, Stiltner, Mets, Tweedt, Church, Pomeroy, Robles, Shelton, Flemer... etc etc etc all OSU affiliated pitched summers.

As I said, most OSU pitchers do not play summer ball, and haven't for some time. Almost all of the players you mention completed their eligibility more than five years ago, if not longer. The last summer Kraig Sitton could have pitched was 2009. The last (only) summer Josh Osich pitched was 2008. The last summer Taylor Starr could have pitched was 2012. Dakota Donovan pitched about four games last summer in Corvallis, not in the Cape Cod League. He did not throw an inning for OSU in 2017. The last summer Sam Gaviglio could have pitched was 2010. He pitched less than 20 innings in the summer of 2009. The last summer James Nygren could have pitched was 2010. The last summer Greg Peavey would have pitched was 2009. The last summer Mark Grbavac would have pitched was 2008. Ryan Gorton was a catcher for the Knights, not a pitcher, in his last summer season in 2011. Sam Twedt was shut down in Bend in 2015, after suffering an arm injury that led to his missing the 2016 season. He has not played summer ball since. Jorge Reyes barely pitched for Moses Lake. The last summer he would have pitched was 2008. Scotland Church played OF for Kelowna, not pitcher. Kevin Flemer pitched with the Knights before his freshman year of college, in 2014. cThe other pitchers you mention had little or no impact at OSU and were minor, minor arms. Heimlich was shut down, Thompson was shut down, Andrew Moore was shut down, Travis Eckert was shut down. Ben Wetzler and Scott Schultz pitched sparingly for the Knights following their freshman year, then did not play summer ball, as I recall. No pitcher of consequence has played the last two years. Mulholland did not pitch at Bellingham last summer. osubeavers.com/news/2017/6/30/baseball-follow-the-beavers-this-summer.aspx?path=baseballosubeavers.com/news/2016/6/8/211005942.aspx?path=baseballWho pitches in summer ball? An increasing number of JC, Division II and Division III players. Over the past 4-5 years many, if not most, D1 programs have elected to shut down their starters/top relievers completely for the summer, unless they go to the Cape Cod League as Matt Boyd did, where his innings were closely monitored and restricted. .

"most OSU pitchers do not play summer ball"... what is "most"? Some years it will vary... invites accepted, over worked IP, injuries, separate trainer/workouts (has become more popular in the last 5 years), need for/lack thereof for exposure.
And, almost every current OSU pitcher not on a summer team works out and pitches. Not all stay in Corvallis and will work with other coaches and trainers. Hence the point being made was that Nate isn't the only influence, and for some will not spend as much time in developing mechanics.
Those workouts are not part of any news article... but, at least three will be pitching this summer. Maybe as many as 6.

Keep moving those goalposts. Ya... if you haven't noticed, "goalposts" to entire "stadiums" get moved on this site regularly. Even monikers seemingly "move" for no apparent reason😲 But, then again "most" on here don't argue semantics/spelling when they know the meaning behind the post... really "justaguy" or two 😉
