It would have been nice to sign McGwire, one of the few *ucks that I liked. She could have really helped us out.

I would feel much better about next year if McGwire would have been here. I have a feeling that had she originally chosen OSU, not only would of playing against Marie improved her game, SR's defense philosophy would have her playing much better D than what you may think she is playing now.

They trot out the customary "we recruited over her" and "lack of playing time" excuses. Perhaps they were just tired of being show ponies in Sabrina's one-woman circus.

Is (potentially) five transfers from uo enough to raise red flags with potential recruits? Does it speak to larger systemic problems in the team, or is this just a quest for playing time among the defections? What does this do to the APR of the program?
Independently, I think one of the greatest strengths of the OSU program is its tight-knit nature. I appreciate SR being very cautious with the culture. One or two "bad eggs" can completely muck it up, regardless of how high they rank on HoopGurlz.....
Interesting times. Go Beavers!

They see this trend as a bad sign. They are questioning what is going on and why Graves is unable to keep his team together. So far SR has been good at keeping most of his players, there had been some defections however. Brown and Green are just the latest.. IIRC, a few players in the early years transferred. Bre was the only one that made a significant impact.

Those who do not will face exile.

But we have all be told here at Benny's House how nice of a person the great I is. . If she handles herself off the court like she does on it I'm surprised there haven't been more defections. While her intensity in the game is good she doesn't seem to be able to temper it when dealing with the other players or even the coaching staff.

Bre Brown was a grad transfer, to a school offering an academic program OSU did not have. Green was never going to play. Quite different than a part-time starter with two years of eligibility leaving for Boise State, another reserve leaving with two years of eligibility, and two players who should have seen real minutes in the next three seasons all bailing.

That other team will still win their share of games during the next season, but all these departures are going to cost them a shot at a Final Four next season. Depth with experience is required, and depth (or lack thereof) will be the weak point going forward. That leaves the queen with only one season left for that national title that their fans have clamored to be in the bag since her arrival. And if they think they can just recruit another queen, they're greatly mistaken much like how they just need to recruit another Mariota for football. There isn't another Mariota out there, and there certainly isn't another queen.

6’1 Natalie Chou is leaving Baylor Mulkey chewed her out (1:23.38) for doubling on Pivec, leaving Katie McW open for the game-clinching 3 (1:20.45).

Natalie Chou is headed to UCLA. Don’t see that becoming an issue for us as I was never all that impressed with her. Go Beavs!

KM didn't just chew Chou out on the sideline - she called her out in the press conference. And not in a "loving" way.
Natalie Chou: Class of 2016. ESPN #8, 5-stars. Prospects Nation #25, 4.5-stars. Averaged 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 21.7 minutes. Missed a few games. UCLA gets her for two seasons, but probably not 2018-2019.
