Will be interesting to see what Casey/Yeskie do....Fehmel barely pitched...might be tempting to go Fehmel on Thursday and let Luke have normal Friday -> Friday
Meanwhile, Mercer pitched Friday for hole and then they got rained out today and playing two tomorrow so Yovan and pu pu platter will have to go Sunday -> Friday and Saturday...guessing Yovan Saturday and pu pu plater on Friday.
We'll see....

I guess we need to stop thinking "friday starter", with all powerful TV, schedules will not allow for routine F,S,S games.
Much more strategy is now in play as to who pitches what game. The luxury of pitching same day throughout season (until playoffs) is now gone. It will serve pitchers and coaches well to move to the new reality and take advantage of the new normal.
Hopefully this will not result in some programs feeling they have an excuse or an opportunity to pitch a young man too many innings.

It is what happens when you prostitute yourself to TV. Unpredictable schedules and start times.

but don't forget by prostituting ourselves to T.V. Larry Scott has a great gig with a 4 million dollar annual salary. so we got that going for us, which is nice

We'll see.... Could well be, for Beavs. I haven’t even been paying any attention to toilet seats this year. Been watching a little today against uw. Typical zero team. Not much hitting... work walks... try to get hit.... anything to get on base. Pitching I know they have Yovan. Ryne Nelson as backend guy... who is playing SS.... He threw a lot in game 1 today. They did DH. Now playing gm 2. Gm 1 went 13 innings. Was hoping for about 25..... Gm 2 is 3-0 puppies in b7.... maybe pukes can tie it up to send into extras and this game will go 25 innings... lol. Typical zero team. Beavs should win. But they’re dangerous enough to be trouble.

*ucks played 22 innings today (Sunday) that can't hurt.
Weather for the series in Corvallis this coming weekend may be the best so far this year.....should mean that the reported attendance of >3,000, will mean that there are actually more than 3,000 bodies in Goss. Plus, if (and it's very likely) Nick returns...it will be electric.
Time to FRY some Anas Platyrhynchos (Latin for Duck, I kid you not - look it up!)

Sounds like it's going to be Fehmel then Heimlich then Gambrell
Sounds like hole going mercer then pu pu platter (but they have been sticking with Kolby Summers more, but he pitched Sunday too) then yovan.
Makes me a bit nervous about the Thurs one, feeling good about Friday and indifferent about Saturday....

Mercer threw 120 pitches last Fri.
Yovan threw 118 on Sun.
Somers threw 81 on Sun.
Nelson threw 61 on Sun.
Kelly threw 52 on Sun.
If our pitchers show up we should roll. We cant let Kasser,Goldfarb,or Matthews beat us.
Deluca has some power and a low batting average. These guys are hitting .250 as a team.

Sounds like Somers not going and will go pu pu platter like I thought....
Totally with you on those guys...to be honest, Kasser is just more a pain in the ass than anything, he really doesn't beat anyone, 44 hits and 39 are singles...but he does get on base. Goldfarb/Matthews and Steer are only guys that cause me to pause in their lineup.
NO WALKS and NO ERRORS and we got this.

Problem is.......Bryce has not had much trouble finding barrels......tonight would be a great time to start.

Problem is.......Bryce has not had much trouble finding barrels......tonight would be a great time to start. Opposing teams actually have a lower batting average against Fehmel than Heimlich. Fehmel's WHIP is lower than Heimlich's, as well. Further, Fehmel has allowed fewer runs, earned runs, walks, WPs, and HBPs than Heimlich. Fehmel also has a lower WHIP than Gambrell with fewer walks, WPs, and HBPs.

Problem is.......Bryce has not had much trouble finding barrels......tonight would be a great time to start. just shy of 2 weeks ago Fehmel went 6-2/3 against a very good hitting AZ team and gave up just 4 hits. Hope that’s the Bryce that’s on the mound tonight. Go Beavs!

Pop ups and crushed line drives can both be outs on paper, but one looks a lot better than the other.
