There is no chatter, so I wanted to start some. Lindsay Meggs returns to Corvallis on Friday. In 2016, Oregon State beat Washington two-games-to-one and had a better RPI but were not given a berth to the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies were given a spot, though, ultimately bowing out in three games with a loss to the 31-29 Xavier Musketeers, a four-seed in the Nashville Regional. Xavier had gone 16-24 in non-conference play during the season. Arizona State had swept Xavier to start the season, outscoring the Musketeers 21-6.

The Friday match-up with the puppies is looking less likely for a Heimlich-DeMers match-up. Still possible. The 40 degree temperature and damp mound at game time won't help a tight hamstring.
It is obvious that seeing guys like DeMers is key to Beaver success down the road. Hope he goes at some point.

You're telling me that bending over and taking one from Washington last year "settled the score?" And you're getting Meggs a card on top of it? Fresno State's Kendall Evans cheap-shotted Terrell Roberts and broke his finger, ruining Oregon State's 2001 campaign before it started. But Oregon State beat Fresno State in 2002. All is forgiven Pat Hill and Kendall Evans. The score is settled! Don't worry, 56chevy has you a card! Boise State's Winston Venable cheap-shotted James Rodgers and knocked him out for two weeks in 2010, ruining Oregon State's 2010 campaign before it started. But Oregon State beat Boise State in 2013. I grew up in Fresno and even though I'm a beav now that hit is still awesome. I can definitely see why OSU fans hate Fresno State for that but that hit (and win) embodied what Bulldog football was and should be. I remember that so well, everyone knew it was coming, it happened, tho Williams hit him in a good shoulder to chest tackle and didn't hurt him, flag was thrown, and then the game was played pretty clean after that.
