do you play a musical instrument? If so, tell us about it.
Me? Nope. Too busy playing ball and chasing girls...a little regret here for not taking those piano lessons seriously.

Me... nope. I mean REALLY nope!!!
Music for Elementary Teachers made us learn the chords on the piano, play a song on the recorder, and also the Autoharp. Also had to sing a duet. About 20 of us all got drunk, stoned or both before the Final. We all passed. Have not touched anything musical since... unless you consider the radio, CD, pandora, my Crosley turntable, or phone... an instrument?!

Actually I played the clarinet from 4th grade until Sophmore year in high school. Our High School band teacher was a major league dick and I quit after Sophmore year.
Since I cut half of my right index finger off at age 23 I can't cover all the holes to even attempt playing it and I've completely forgotten how to read music. Which is kind of a shame because it might be fun to play around with from time to time.

There is a pretty thorough description of it somewhere on here. Can't remember if it was the Bmoby page or the Rotating Tap.

I played the trumpet extensively, fooled around on the piano and still do, and loved when I got a chance to play the drums. Once you know how to play the trumpet you can play the French horn, the tuba if you can read bass clef, and all the trumpet related instruments like the flugelhorn, etc. Wanted to learn the saxophone, but had a hard time getting a good sound out of it. Guess I was destined for brass, not a woodwind.

I wish I had explored the music classes in college if for the practice rooms if nothing else. I had a hard enough time keeping up with my classes and social life. I do plan on picking it up again though, no matter how painful. On another note (!) I met 2 Beaver fans that played in the Osu band while attending one of the Insight Bowls. I ran in to my buddy Mark Reser and his wife pre-game and he gave us passes to the suite they had. Some people didn’t show. He saw this other Osu couple in the bar we were in and gave them 2 as well! Turns out they both played in the band in college. It was awesome-adjacent to the ESPN broadcast booth. Had beers with the broadcasters post game. The band couple were great!

When I was young...and had time...guitar and piano. I was like "guitar George...I knew ALL the chords." BUT, I WAS strictly rhythm. I couldn't make it cry or sing. I WANTED to. Just couldn't. I quit playing because of guys like SRV...Carlton...Becker....Fagen....Wonder.....I figured, "What IN HELL is the point?" I know.....pathetic.

I played Tuba at OSU for 4 of the years I was there, then I decided to join the student section for my last two fall terms so I could get drunk instead of just buzzed for the games.

Favorite song to play? Easy, Beer Barrel Polka. The song of the Tubas! Worst song by far Land of a Thousand Dances. It looks badass, but lifting a 40 pound Sousaphone over and over again is not very fun after a while.

Came from a musical family and supposedly had a high aptitude. As a kid was kind of forced to play piano, violin, trombone, and cello in that order. Always wanted to play drums but was browbeat into not wasting my potential on a "non musical" instrument. Bought a kit when I was in high school and was mostly self taught. Played in a number of bands and won a battle of the bands at the MU when I was a freshman.
Started playing guitar later on so I could suggest song arrangement ideas to prima donna guitar players who didn't like the idea that a drummer was more than a metronome. Still have a drum set, some hand drums, and a couple of guitars and amps. Don't play as much as I should but will do more if I ever really retire.
