If they don't make he Dance it will be interesting to see if WT keeps his job. I think he will still be coach next season regardless.. he did get OSU to their first NCAA in 26 seasons and and they are coming off 5 win season so this season is already an improvement as far with wins so I think that buys him one more season for sure..if they aren't in serious consideration for NCAA next season then yes I think you have to maybe think about coaching change

He'd have to go 0-Fer in the league, or pretty close to it,to not be retained for next year.

From my perspective, Coach Tinkle either (a) does not know how to coach basic basketball techniques or (b) he knows how but is unwilling to insist that his players learn them or sit on the bench. Also it appears as if all the OSU players believe that they are NBA ready and need to only play one on one/AAU type basketball until they "cash in" at the NBA level.
The reality is that none of the current roster will likely ever do more than play overseas professional basketball.
Meanwhile, OSU will have losing season after losing season!

Meanwhile, OSU will have losing season after losing season! ==============================
We've had winning record in two of Tinkle's three seasons and played in the NCAA tournament two years ago.

Winning records in conference are what count. You can have a winning record every year overall and miss the NIT if you can't finish in the top half of your conference.

So is anyone who picked the Beavs to win 0-4 league games this season thinking about revising their win total guess?
I legitimately was thinking 7-9 league wins. A few more won't shock me after tonight. The league is going to be interesting this year.

I see 4-5 wins, likely all at home, since most everyone in the Pac-12 is likely better than Kent State on the road....... This team just does not have good fundamentals, which is a product of coaching and discipline. We have some talent on the team, which is why we will occasionally get the "blind squirrel finds nut" victories. But my mouse was hovering on the 0-4 category for the longest time as well. And in a year where many of teams should not scare even an average Pac-12 team. I am thankful that WBB can scratch my basketball itch at this point. Go Beavers! . "blind squirrel finds nut" victories. Laughed out loud...
