I don't see many. can't shoot , can't defend, can't get the ball inbounds on set plays.

I'm seeing 1-3 wins for conference play. Beavers finish the season with a losing record, again. #FireTinkle

PSU is better than us... there are no gimmes for this team. Strange too. For a team with a 1st team All PAC12 forward, future NBA C/PF that is better than a 10-12 year NBAer (and if I remember correctly from years past... Myers Leonard), and 4* and 5* shooting guards.
Sorry sarcasm is just dripping after another 50+ point 2nd half. My original prediction stands for me... 17-13 would be a miracle at this juncture. more like 14-16/15-15 entering Pac12 tourney... and HOPEFULLY going 1-1 there. Probably get a CBI look since we make a "miraculous" 10 or game swing from last year.
We're just bad...

They play the challenger and if you are lousy, they might out-lousy you. But if you bring your ranked ass to town... maybe.

Our non-conference schedule should have us ready for the caliber of teams we will face in the CBI #MarchSadness

Tres Tinkle is averaging 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists, leads the team in steals, and is shooting 49% from the floor, 84% from the line and 35% from 3. I wish all our players were that bad.

I wish all our players were that bad. Look... Tres is the best player on a bad team with 12 games vs a very weak schedule. Without looking he's prob averaging over 30 min a game. Even on a bad team someone had to have stats. He's a very limited athlete for his position and really a 3rd or 4th option on a good team. Unfortunately were not!

This year, we have improved to a below average team.

Seven (7): @stanford, @cal, WSU, @wsu, UW, Col, and an upset.
This is up from three earlier in the year. They pass the eye test in spurts. I'm hoping Ethan emerges as the glue on the team. No one else is showing any leadership and no on is listening to Coach Tinkle.
Finish 15 and 15. Just enough wins for Coach Tinkle to see his son become a graduate transfer, and for Ethan to turn pro.

Ethan is not turning pro unless he wants to join the Ball brothers in Lithuania. I was thinking Ethan goes pro after his sophomore year and Tres transfers after his RS Junior season. I'm speculating that could be WT last season. I don't see this team a year older being NCAA tournament quality, and that would be the end of the Tinkle era.

I see 4-5 wins, likely all at home, since most everyone in the Pac-12 is likely better than Kent State on the road....... This team just does not have good fundamentals, which is a product of coaching and discipline. We have some talent on the team, which is why we will occasionally get the "blind squirrel finds nut" victories. But my mouse was hovering on the 0-4 category for the longest time as well. And in a year where many of teams should not scare even an average Pac-12 team. I am thankful that WBB can scratch my basketball itch at this point.
Go Beavers!

6 wins. The Beavs do not knock down wide open mid-range or 3's on a consistent basis. We don't play hard/energized/lockdown defense unless we are 8 points down with a minute left in the game. We get very few easy hoops off inbound plays. We dribble WAY too much against the zone...pass quicker and firmer! Set real screens, set your player up to use those screens...and cut hard. When I watch...I have a hard time trying figure out what we are trying to run on offense. We just lounge around until the shot clock runs down...then someone just dribbles around, going one on one for a contested shot. Anyone thinking of going pro from this team...is nutzzz! Still love my Beavs....GO BEAVERS!

If they don't make he Dance it will be interesting to see if WT keeps his job. I think there is a good chance that both Eubanks and S Thompson will leave after this year. The fact that they tested the waters last year indicates they are anxious to try at play pro ball at some level.
