This can't be true. UCLA selects only the highest character guys for their basketball team, don't they? In the tradition of John Wooden? Surely this is a huge misunderstanding. They must have been confused about the need to pay, or something innocent like that.

We have the President of the United States in Beijing attempting to take the moral high ground of American interests with respect to international trade, North Korea, military issues, all while representing the idea that those gall dang illegal foreigners who come to the USA are a drain on our resources. Must be millions of people in Asia just laughing their collective asses off at the "legal" Americans who China allowed into their country. Makes me wonder how often these guys shoplifted in the USA as I am sure they didn't just embark on this activity in Communist China.

He's not the player they'd miss. He is basically a family "throw in". big and little brothers are the better players. Ball is by far the worst of their class of 6. The other two in this mess are top 50 kids... |
