Coulda been worse. He could have run out to the five then returned to the end zone and taken a knee.

Rick Gervais from Bend HS gave us that one. But OSU helped by scoring a TD and a 2-point conversion in the last minute to tie the game.

All I know is on the kickoff, a lot of bad things can happen, and only one good thing can happen. Advantage: Take a knee.

Did not see this part but WTF!? Last game we fair catch a punt at their 3 yard line (inexcusable)! If we fair caught a KO inside the 5, not only is that that effing stupid but unheard of! You should never need to fair catch a KO first off! Our ST's coordinator should should tell all punt returners that if the ball goes inside the 10 yard line, you give a "peter" call and get the heck outta the way!
Go Beavs!

All I know is on the kickoff, a lot of bad things can happen, and only one good thing can happen. Advantage: Take a knee. I could not disagree more. I was very surprised that Washington State made the mistake of kicking it deep. A kickoff return is one of the few opportunities for a team down by 19 to get back into the game. If Oregon State makes a mistake and goes down 35-9, who the hell cares? If Oregon State pulls within 28-16 at the half and then comes out hot to start the second half, which the Beavers did, it is a different ball game. If Oregon State is up 19 with zeroes on the clock, I might agree with you, but I was livid with the Beavers' blunder.

If Oregon State was blowing the doors of Washington State or was within a score, yeah, go ahead and take a knee. Go in the locker room. Down 19, what do you have to lose? Especially, when you know that the Beavers are terrible in the second half under CGA........

Did one of our guys not fair catch a kick off on the 3 yard line? Go Beavs! No! Go Beavs! My bad! The title is very misleading yet not hard to believe after I saw us fair catch a punt within the 5 yard line in the previous game! Go Beavs!
