Yeah I get it. Don't want to burn someone for talking out of class, and more often than not you've been proven to be right.
Appreciate your contributions here. Just having a little fun at your expense.

We have so-called Diamond-Level donors who get sideline passes at the games and are in and around the locker room. These same donors are typically the ones the school goes to in order to solicit any special purpose funds, and those people would absolutely be treated with the type of deference that includes attending a closed-door meeting with them, as the AD.
None of this seems far-fetched or vague. With the money that was spent to bring Anderpants in, frankly it would be shocking if it DIDN'T happen after the first 3 games - be it Admin and staff (likely) or Admin and boosters (almost a certainty).
Hell in all likelihood, it was both.

by the way, none of this is a recent or new development. Pettibone's disastrous foray into his spread option passing offense in 96 and away from the bone was a result of bowing to booster pressure.
There was also some of this force in play with Riley and his assistants at the end - Riley chose to draw the line at control of his staff.

There was some of this at the end of Andros' tenure, as well. When it starts happening, though, things seem to always get worse and never better.

I must say, if a head coach has compiled a poor record--like Andersen-- I am not a fan of putting it on the assistant coaches and getting them canned. It's kind of a "buck stops here" thing. If anyone coach is facing terminal danger from the OSU admin/AD, it should be Andersen, not his assistants who, in the end, are doing what they do by Andersen's approval.
