I was at the game and didn't see him go down, but was told it was in the second series. He's the key to our defensive line, and I'd say the results without him proved that out.

If he's questionable at all I'd rather see him peddaling on a stationary bike all game. Last thing he needs is to inflame whatever he had going on and risk games later in the season.

Actually, I walked by the practice field today while they were practicing, and he was doing exactly that - pedaling on a stationary bike in his helmet and shoulder pads.....which.....I don't get football at all. |

He did not go down... the play ended, he waved to the sideline and walked off on his own. I thought, "My god how can he be gassed already? What do we do at practices all Fall?" (Believe the 1st series was a 3 and out) |

In my limited football experience when the coach yells "You're in!" you better be ready to go in. If you aren't you get dropped to the bottom and have to work your way out of the dog house. |

Which, makes it reasonable to assume, mid-october is because he is... STILL... finishing classes that end in mid-september. OSU classes for Fall term start late September. Between finishing a class, getting grades, getting signed off, and then practicing for a reasonable amount of time... mid-october makes sense. |

Back to Aydon, I get that we need him and we absolutely need depth, but to my untrained eye, Kalani V is a much better DT. I'd be more worried if he was dinged up. Disclaimer- I was a HS defensive back/WR decoy, so I don't know jack really... |
