I have been observing quietly for the past three years (have been a Beaver football fan for over 60 years). My conclusions about Coach Anderson and his program are:
(1) He is an "average" recruiter. Which given the disadvantages of Corvallis equates to having "below average" PAC 12 talent. I see little reasons to believe that this will change.
(2) He may be a good organizer and a good administrator but I believe he is well "below" average in terms of having a creative, talented football "mind". Coach Riley had many faults but he had an offense that was well thought out, well planned and based on a clear set of fundamental concepts(pro-set, drop back passer, lots of medium and long passing routes to stretch the field, etc.) Coach Anderson seems to have something he calls "spread offense" which seems to consist of a different offensive coordinator every year, a random selection at the quarterback position, and after three years the only consistency is inconsistency.
(3) In the two areas-strong offensive line and defensive line- that I believe would give OSU the best chance to move up in the PAC 12, Coach Anderson's ability to recruit and coach have been the most lacking.
(4) My prediction for this years team is two wins (hope I am wrong)

Just an observation, but if you are going to post in the written word about others being "unintelligent", you would be better served by making yourself not look the same. Grammar, punctuation, and capitalization are all butchered in the above, which in my opinion, diminishes any point you were trying to make. Andersen/It's/because/Beavs/they're. Just a suggestion. You missed "you're". Seeing the phrase "your unintelligent" left me wondering whether I should chuckle or be sad about the grammar. Ha! You're correct! That's why I rarely try to post something intelligent! Helps me get away with things like that.

If Oregon State loses to any of the four, the Beavers are a lot worse off than I thought (or those teams are much better). Colorado, Arizona, and Oregon all should be winnable. I would be very surprised to see an upset against the other four. My prediction is still 5-7 or 6-6, but Oregon State needs to improve quickly to hit 6-6.

Yeah, it's from the Whittingham template, right? Ah, F. From the Whittingham tree.........that's nice. I'm gonna vomit. Both Whittingham and Andersen are from the Urban Meyer coaching tree if it makes you feel better. Yes. It makes me feel better, but, well, CGA was a DL coach for Urban for 1 year. He was Whittingham's bitch boy DC for 4 years. I say CGA is a Whittingham boy. Whittingham's offense is absolutely fugly to watch to me, but he sure has a good defense. Yeah. That's where CGA gets his offense from. And I don't know what happened to his defense. Really don't.

The 3-4 worked at Utah State, but I just never saw it working in Corvallis against the Pac-12

PSU, Cal, uo, one of the Az schools and a surprise or two. For all we know so far CSU is the third or fourth toughest opponent we have this year.In one word, no. CSU is probably the third- or fourth-best team in the Mountain West. If CSU is the third- or fourth-best team that Oregon State plays, the Pac-12 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. Washington State, Washington, USC, and Stanford are much better. Colorado beat this same Colorado State team by 37. My money is on that game being closer this year but not 37 points closer. I would countenance CSU being the 6th or 7th toughest opponent this year, but 3rd or 4th seems rather far-fetched. This whole thing is very reminiscent about Boise State being great, because they beat us by two touchdowns last year. To listen to some on here, Boise was destined for the CFP. Then, they finished third in the Mountain West. I missed this years CU v CSU game already?

After CSU beats the Buffaloes this weekend some people will be confused.

So.... let me get this right....
We lose game 1, Head Coach is grumpy. Check, that is the way I was as a fan and would be as a coach.
One of the guys makes a comment that the team wasn't ready.... he also played poorly.
Coach was surprised at the presser because he didn't read, or hear the comment. I agree, side step it and move on but he didn't. BUT, at 17:45 ish he comes back to this... admits he is edgy, admits he want's players to be responsible for themselves, and not to make excuses.
I agree we were out coached but players shouldn't be saying so to the media, sets a bad vibe.
Time will tell but my opinion is this team needs a win quick, I hope they play that way on Saturday because they sure didn't last week. Blame whoever you want... they simply didn't play to there potential.
