The first game of the entire college football season, and it's on an absolute turd of a station. CBSSN. That's the best that can be done? I get that it's an out of conference road game, so Pac-12 Network doesn't have rights. But, c'mon man. It's been more than 8 months since the last college football game has been played, and the first game of this new season lands CBSSN? Fox is broadcasting zero games this weekend. ESPN, they have two games. But ESPN2? Nada. CBS, ABC, NBC? Nuthin'.
I'm probably going to get a free trial of Hulu w/ Live-tv to stream the game. Blows. SlingTV has Pac-12 Networks, but no CBSSN, I like PS Vue, but they don't have Pac-12 Nets or CBSSN, Hulu doesn't have Pac-12 nets. The sooner the Pac-12 offers content via a stand-alone streaming subscription like MLB.tv, the better.

It seems odd that it wouldn't be on a major player, but CBS Sports Network is the Mountain West's Network....probably wanted to showcase their team on opening weekend against a P5 team. I believe when we played at SDSU in 2013(?) it was on this network and when we played UNLV back in 2009. It was on this one. Understand your frustration, but being the away team....we have no control over it. When the *ucks play Wyoming in a couple of weeks, it will be on CBS Sports as well.

CBS-S is just another channel that was invented so you have to upgrade another level of your service with cable or your satellite TV provider so those sons-a-beaches can squeeze more dolaroes out of you. I hate TV providers!

Get the CBS app for your phone and use chromecast to send the picture to your big screen TV. Problem solved.

Welcome to the terrible mountain west TV deal. CBSSN gets first pick of games (except BSU and Hawaii home games). ESPN gets second grab, and third tier rights are dealt on a per game basis. All the best CSU games always end up on this terrible network with absolutely terrible announcers. At least you will get a PAC-12 homer and former UCB coach to preach all game how much bigger, better and stronger the OSU players are.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure you need to be subscribed to a TV service with a package that includes that channel to sign in and watch. At least that's how pretty much all the others work..

I just downloaded the app and you can also sign up for a monthly subscription. Does have a week free offer. I don't however see any reference to cbs sports network so I'm not sure if that's included.

I guess we could go back to the good ol' days when not every game was televised.

CBSSN is channel 412 on Xfinity and is supposed to be in hi-def.
Unfortunately it is not available on Xfinity to go, probably due to the fact that CBS Sports sells a streaming subscription for $9.95/mo

That would be better than knowing that the game is televised but I can't watch it because it's on some channel that I have to jump through hoops to watch.. I know it's not that bad and I'm sure I'll find a link to watch the game anyways. Just a hassle.

221 on Directv for me. Just another channel. Best college basketball coverage in my opinion of all the channels.
