Get the CBS app for your phone and use chromecast to send the picture to your big screen TV. Problem solved. Watching CBS isn't the problem. Watching CBSSN is. Two completely different channels. I get that. I thought it was implicit enough to understand I meant the CBS sports app - if it's not in the CBS app and they have a separate app, which it appears they do.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure you need to be subscribed to a TV service with a package that includes that channel to sign in and watch. At least that's how pretty much all the others work.. I just downloaded the app and you can also sign up for a monthly subscription. Does have a week free offer. I don't however see any reference to cbs sports network so I'm not sure if that's included. You're more than likely right. Hopefully they have some of the standards. Hopefully...

Seeing as how I don't get this channel, and don't want to watch on an app on my phone anyways....
Where are people planning on watching in Corvallis? Are there any watch parties going on? Do any of the local restaurants, pubs, etc put on a special spread or host anything? Which restaurants are OK with me sitting and nursing a beer and a basket of tots for 4 hours? I'll probably have a kid with me so probably can't actually sit at the bar...

Channel 725 on Xfinity (HD).
Channel 412 is standard (not high) definition.
That may depend on where you're at I confirmed channel 412 was HD last night

It seems odd that it wouldn't be on a major player, but CBS Sports Network is the Mountain West's Network....probably wanted to showcase their team on opening weekend against a P5 team. I believe when we played at SDSU in 2013(?) it was on this network and when we played UNLV back in 2009. It was on this one. Understand your frustration, but being the away team....we have no control over it. When the *ucks play Wyoming in a couple of weeks, it will be on CBS Sports as well. Welcome to the terrible mountain west TV deal. CBSSN gets first pick of games (except BSU and Hawaii home games). ESPN gets second grab, and third tier rights are dealt on a per game basis. All the best CSU games always end up on this terrible network with absolutely terrible announcers. At least you will get a PAC-12 homer and former UCB coach to preach all game how much bigger, better and stronger the OSU players are. So basically what OSU fans get to hear almost every Saturday of the Pac12 season?

They're both on the large side with a lot of screens. Might want to call first. Other than that I can't think of a lot of places here to hang at.

You have a full screen picture on Channel 412, not a half-sized one (box in the middle)? That's usually how HD is displayed... And no, my TV isn't in stretch mode

Be glad that this is an early game if you are planning to go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Corvallis. The McGregor-Mayweather fight is in the evening. Last year we went to watch a game at BWW and there was a big UFC card on, and we had to fight to get 1 tv in the outside area to watch the football game. Everyone there was there to watch the UFC c**p and the table next to us would not quit whining and complaining to the manager that two guys got to "monopolize" the screen by their table. It sucked.

Tommy's downtown would likely have it on, but not very large screens (outside of the bar, but there is a family friendly section). University Hero and the growler place next door will likely have it on (again family friendly in close proximity to brews) McMinamin's right off campus will likely have it on, and they have a big projection screen (family friendly + brews) Izzys? This all assumes their TV providers have the channel.....luckily its part of my Dish subscription. The thing that irks me most is I could swear when Larry Scott came on board he talked about a Pac-12 internet streaming service....... Go Beavers!

Direct TV channel 221 Hi Def
don't hate me because I have Direct TV and the game. One of the very few advantages of DTV. I have Sling TV solely for Pac 12 channel. I first went to Sling to see if I had it. Looked like I could subscribe/unsubscribe the one channel. Then went to the official site and it pulled up the major providers channels. And there it was on DTV!

I did the cord cutting last year. So far happy but it can be a challenge with Sports and especially the Beavs. I have SlingTV for the Pac. I bought an antenna (still not up) for over the air. And I have Hulu and Netflix. None of those have CBS Sports Network. I live in a rural part of the Oregon Coast so the nearest Sports bar is a drive. So last night I did a free trial of Hulu Live as it has CBS sports. Unfortunately since it is still Beta it does not do all the streaming systems. I have Roku. But I was able to stream from my Android phone and tablet and cast to my TV to get CBS Sports Network. Hopefully I am set for Saturday.

594 HD on Frontier FiOS. Just checked and it comes with the basic level cable package. Won't be able to watch (on the road) but I'll set the DVR.

An option I am using for a Roku is a free trial of Fubo TV for tomorrow, which seems to have a good DVR system and mostly sports channels including CBSS then I will have to buy Sling for the Pac 12 net games.
