I know the Dodgers were having problems with Kendall, Cooper, and Wong. Jim Callis of MLB.com had him as signed in principal, but also updated an official signing more recently. Hunter Greene signed with the Reds at the last second. |

#195 Jeremiah EstradaNow the Cubs have signed Lange, Velazquez, and Estrada. Only 5 possible unsigned players, and Rasmussen is the highest draft pick returning to school. I updated the list above. No surprises. Supposedly, because Rasmussen was not offered 40%, the MLB may make him a free agent, opening him up to signing by any team. However, I have heard that Tampa found something on their MRI of Rasmussen that caused them to back out. Casey has said that Rasmussen is still not at 100%. I am wondering, if anyone knows anything more. Jack Conlon turned down the Orioles and will head to Texas A&M instead. JoJo Booker and his battery-mate, Hunter Brittain, were both selected by the Angels. Neither signed. Both will head to South Alabama instead. |

Something came up on Lange's physical, and Lange ultimately accepted $1,925,000, 88% of slot bonus value. Estrada signed for $1,000,000, 449% of slot bonus value. The Cubs had to sign Lange, in order to sign Estrada, without forfeiting their first round pick in 2018. |
