We don't seem to be getting the same calls on the outside fastball. Did I hear a smattering of boos on a couple pitches there?

Fehmel should never throw a fastball because of the strike zone by the umpire. It isn't overpowering enough. He needs to stick to off speed pitches with a lot of movement. I am a surprised he started today. He threw a fastball on a 3-1 count with first base empty. He so far hasn't had good control of his fastball.

Difference is LSU is swinging. Beans looking. Sure...swinging because they can put our pitcher in the hole with the bull**** zone. Meanwhile their guy can just paint the corner, if it were a 500' wide barn, and get a strike. |
