This game will be closer than I and other Beavers will like. I think he goes 7 innings and the Beavers win by 2. We will be on the edge of our seats the whole game! Just my opinion. Go Beavs!

Still don't think any one dimensional pitcher ( here's where LSU claims ortherwise, but for reference check your plate disciplinw comments before posting). makes it through the Beavs lineup twice. We have track record this season with these kind of guys. Not sure what we think will be different, is this guy a better version? Is OS not playing as well as when they played for example UO? Does th ball park benefit the pitcher? Runs will be scored and certainly we can't expect a performance like Fehmel put on for our entertainment. OS by two: 8-6 final |

I'm actually not nervous about our ability to hit or get on base or run up his pitch count. We are rolling, no reason to believe that it's suddenly coming to a halt on Friday. If we get the early lead, the pressure on LSU ratchets up big time.
However, I am nervous about Jake (I'm assuming he starts tomorrow). Which Jake are we getting on Friday? We need him locked in from the get go. He's got to get ahead and stay ahead.

It can't be under because LSU doesn't seem to have any relief pitchers. I think coach will be hesitant to pull him, especially if we haven't broken it wide open before that.

I guess I am in the "serve up what you want, it just doesn't seem to matter" mode right now. I am still going to be angst ridden leading up to the game, and the Beavers will find a way to win. Just seems to be working that way this season.

Under. He will be on a very short leash. They can't leave anyone in the bullpen tomorrow. You don't want to lose your final game without trying everything. We, on the other hand, can be patient and save arms.

Over. He seemed to have first game jitters (like your starter against CSF had) and overcame them to help LSU get a win. I think he will go 7. Hopefully we play again on Saturday

As a tiger fan i believe we will win Friday, but the Saturday game will be an uphill battle for our pitching staff. Losing walker throws our pitching rotation and bullpen out of whack |

Kyle Wright from Vandy (#5 pick in draft) went 6.2 and gave up 7 runs on 8 hits to OSU in the 2 super regional game.
They've seen and hit the 97 mph fastball. Kwan bunted successfully a couple of times.
I think that Lange makes it to the 7th or 8th because he has to.
The LSU pen was already lit up by OSU so he's their best chance of winning.
