You're right.... You are thick headed! And... in your own words your competitive athletic experience is minimal. As is your interpretation/immature post of being "premature" about a unproven player not yet even qualified (could be by this time?) let alone played a min versus D1 competition in a game atmosphere. Of course you have posted about 50 times with the majority regurgitations of common info. Oh, other than the Rueck vs Geno blather. So, you'll get it eventually... thick head or not! In regards to your comment "about a unproven player not yet even qualified (could be by this time?) let alone played a min versus D1 competition in a game atmosphere", he has in fact played 27 minutes against a quality D1 opponent (ducky sorts) and scored 11 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and blocked 2 shots in that game. He impressed impartial observers enough to garner compliments in ducky news accounts of the game. So this, in addition to the recent observations of him applying "ferocious" dunks against other college players DOES give (some of us) hope that he could be a major surprise contributor this year. Yes, it is just hopeful thinking at this time, but it IS possible that under WT's tutelage he could become a significant offensive and/or defensive threat. So let's just wait and see, okay? We've got to have something to ponder while waiting for football to start and (hoped for) basketball reports from Spain. He is too short. he weighs 197 pounds. If you are going to weigh 197 pounds you need to be at least 7 feet 6 to make up for your beanpole ways. So to my way of thinking: he is too short for the pac 12.

Here's hoping to someone who can grow in the weightroom and on the court - but remember the Blazers drafted La Rue Martin based on the results of one basketball game - speaking of which I was listening to Greg Oden on the Dan Patrick show this morning while getting ready for work, and I kept thinking that if you are a center, you never want to be drafted by the Blazers - it's like the kiss of death to an NBA career.
