I'm thinking if he is eligible this fall, and stays eligible, this is the missing piece that could get us back to the tournament.

I've only seen 1 short clip that didn't show off a whole lot. I'm more going by the comments that he can run, rebound and alter shots, and has an 18 foot jumper, and held his own against uo's bigs.
To me that says he can work into the game for several minutes at a time without hurting the level of play much. I don't see him as being a star player (maybe in 3 years?), but a backup big that can give us 10-18 good minutes a game could be great. We're not even certain N'Daiye is coming back at this point, without him that leaves us a little thin under the basket.

Sounds like he can give us more than any of the walk ons from last year if he can just play D and block a shot... 5 more big man fouls is always good.

Signing N'Diaye was a coup for Oregon State. If he plays to potential, the sky is the limit for him. The problem is that he tends to make poor decisions defensively and fouls too much. If he can get his head right, he could be a big part of the team next year. If he is the same guy as in 2015, you are right, he probably does not see the floor that much.

N'diaye has to be gone. We're at the 13 player limit right now. There's no room for him:
1 Eubanks 2 Rakocevic 3 Kelley 4 Tinkle 5 Kone 6 Berger 7 McLaughlin 8 S. Thompson 9 E. Thompson 10 Manuel 11 Reichle 12 Hollins 13 Stacy

Do we know that Kelley is actually set to get a scholarship this year?
I know he mentioned going to NCU because of the scholarship they offered, and I assume he wants one at OSU, but was there any note of him getting one for sure? He's not even eligible yet, has classes to take this summer.

Assuming we had our injuries last year and it's someone else's turn, everyone has improved even a little in one aspect of their game, Kone' is healthy and active, Berger and Kelley are athletic/strong enough to hole their own for quality minutes we have a nice group. PG and depth worries me... we were stagnant enough on offense without that being an issue this year.

Kelley was already lost to NWCU because of academic issues. Can we really expect him to do any better with the greater time demands of D1 basketball here?

That is, unless Stacy leaves because he realizes he's not going to see the court much, which would free up a scholly. Or WT could pull his own son's scholly and pay his tuition.
