I love a good college baseball discussion thread. What does it say about this forum when there are 8 posts about a stellar performance by Luke Heimlich, Jack Anderson, Steven Kwan et. al. v Yale...and 29 posts about Signs / NCAA idiocy / stadium security staff? just askin'...... Haha, good point. But it's threads like these that make discussion boards interesting. And I'm super glad that posts like these are no long being moved to Rotating Tap or wherever they used to be moved to. Thanks Glove!!!

If growing old but not up is a crime, then I plead guilty. And If you think the DDD sign was a death threat, you are a fool. I am way beyond an ardent fan. I am a Beaver baseball fanatic. For that, I make no apologies. And I happen to know that the players want to see my signs, as bad as I want to bring them in. I am printing off the pertinent rules, bringing my signs, and I am going to insist that they have misinterpreted the rules and that they have no right to keep either me or my signs out. And yes, the team kicked Yale's collective ass last night, and I expect them to do the same to whoever they face tonight.

As I made no mention of the DDD sign (and truly pay no attention to such signs... and my mention of the threat was made in a post toward the NCAA). And, players and coaches into the game could really give a rat's arse about signage... except the scoreboard. Do they and others think some are funny? Sure. But, miss them? Guess 19-2 over two Regional games... not so much. He who thinks playing the jester makes them popular is indeed the fool. But, them again you did say you were old and not up! 😉

Baseba11, fans come in all shapes and sizes Stop trying to build yourself up by tearing others down. It's not working for you.

Baseba11...sorry that ALL the posts here don't come up to your superior standards. But then again, there's an oh-so-easy solution to that dilemma:
DON'T READ 'EM.
That was really tough, wasn't it. ------- Personally, I like fans (like EugeneDave)who wear their loyalty and enthusiasm on their sleeves. Anyone can sit on the sideline and criticize others.

I have no need to build myself up on this board. Not do I give a flaming s%#te what you think. If called a fool for a post I did not write nor I interpret I'll fire back. So, be a "mother" somewhere else. Eugenedave is a guy who can dish it out... and I'm positive from the plethora of his intelligent posts he can take it. PS- never asked Eugene to change or diminished his love of the Beavs. Pissing/ moaning/ whining about signs was the point. Not him as a fan as they do come is all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.

Surprised the outfield signs are still on the fences, in the past they were always removed....only those that had to he NCAA logo were allowed.

I'm all for more of things that I like, and less of things that I don't like. And one day when I start up and run my own OSU message board, I'm gonna lay down the f---ing law! Until then...
