By the dates associated with the other top 5 it appears we will be on this list for some time. The last one to break in was 35 years ago. That is quite an accomplishment to pair with our National Championships.

List of NCAA teams with two national championships in the Super Regional era: Miami (FL) Oregon State LSU South Carolina List of teams with back-to-back national championships in the Super Regional era: Oregon State South Carolina List of teams with a winning percentage above .900 in the Super Regional era: Oregon State

That is quite an accomplishment to pair with our National Championships. Focusing on 1975 and 1982 Texas: 1975 Texas actually finished 56-6. Two wins were against NAIA St. Mary's (TX), two wins were against Division 3 Texas Lutheran, and four wins were against NAIA Lubbock Christian, and four wins against Division 3 University of Dallas. Four wins were against Plano University, a school founded in 1964. Prior to the 1975 baseball season, because of bad land speculation, Plano University lost its baseball stadium to creditors. The entire University closed in 1976, because of the continuing poor economic conditions and bad investments made by the University. If you discount the NAIA games and the games against Plano University, Texas went 48-6 (.889) against NCAA competition and 42-6 (.875) against NCAA Division 1 competition. 1982 Texas actually finished 59-7 (.894). However, the Longhorns' game against the San Antonio Dodgers (AA) is not counted by the NCAA. Two wins were against Division 2 Midwestern State, two wins were against Division 3 Texas Lutheran, six wins against NAIA Lubbock Christian, four wins against NAIA Texas Wesleyan, two wins against NAIA Southwestern, two wins against NAIA St. Mary's (TX). Texas went 47-6 (.888) against NCAA competition and 43-6 (.878) against NCAA Division 1 competition. I will look into 1972 Arizona State and 1974 Arizona's records later, but, for now, best all-time records against NCAA competition: Arizona State 1972 64-6 .914 Arizona 1974 58-6 .906 Oregon State 2017 56-6 .903

Great season, Beavers!
