Not like I need more incentive to root for the Beavs, but the commentators talking up the cougs and talking about a possible sweep made the come-from-behind a little sweeter.

WOW! The whole game their Pitching wasn't very impressive. But they did sting Luke with solid hitting. We Won! Not much more to say than let's get our Hitting going! Go Beav's!

Wazzu is a good baseball team. The kid didn't miss by much on a couple of those pitches. I've/We've seen them called strikes a million times. Sometimes it's "better to be lucky, than good." Tonight, we were lucky. Gonna be a tough, tough series.

We were simply underwhelming... they lost it more than we won it. They hit our very good pitcher much better than we hit their very mediocre pitchers.
WSU is 6-17 on the road, far from a good team. But, lulls happen. Now need to start slow burn/ build to the post season. Injuries happen, and can happen in the post season... it's no excuse for that offensive display.
Earlier post said this game meant nothing. Tell the players and coaches that. Every game means something from here on out.
Good news we won again despite ourselves.

While far from a good team they are playing well lately. WSU has won its last 4 weekend series against uo, Utah, UW, and UCLA. |

They did indeed Coug it, but great teams find ways to win. I wonder why WSU pitching coach let their guy twist in the wind. Not even a visit to the mound in the 9th inning. |
