I'd guess that Spence had no one behind him, from my seat I could see the Cougs had no one up throwing seriously.

They may not have been "up throwing" but I bet they felt like "throwing up" after that finish.

The Ventures had an instrumental hit called "Walk, Don't Run". The Beavers played "Walk For Runs"...LOL! That was a most unusual finish. Then again it was WSU. Some things never change despite the sport being played.

Pat Casey continues to amaze regarding game strategy. Very interesting decision last night on pinch hitter selection in 9th. There are two talented young Beavers who've yet to hit safely this year (in limited ABs). Mendazona and Jones. Pat sent Jones up there in crucial situation, and it came with a couple of proverbial inches of dramatically succeeding.
