So far another disappointing offensive display versus a very below average pitcher... by my book, we're 2-9 with runners on... 0-3 with runners in scoring position... 0-3 with 2 outs
About time to break this open!

Jack Anderson with a bloop double to bring us even at 4. This series he has had a lot of "hits" that are not hit that well. Last night I swear he hit a 7 bounce single up the middle for a hit. He's got a knack though

A lot of empty seats here today?  ? Did it ever fill up? A small fender bender was causing a LOT of traffic on Philomath Blvd right as the game was about to start so maybe that delayed folks? |

And Larnach has "quietly" taken the team lead in the "K" department. Did not think anyone would catch Donahue.
225 (33, 29, 29, 27, 24) vs 147 BB is not a great sign vs the pitching we've seen. Besides Canning I've not been impressed by very many! Some wasted opps versus this type of staff.
Now 231 K's... 33, 29, 29, 27, 24 for the 'leaders'... Grenier tied Donahue also... vs 152 BBs

Playing pretty poorly against a BAD Trojan team. Going to need at least 2 runs in the 10th to keep the game alive. Bats still MIA against a lousy pitching staff.

Feel like Casey is conceding this game in that Mullholand wasn't fooling anyone and when batters stepped in the box I anticipated them making good contact.

MP called it officially a record crowd for a regular season game. 3420 or so Counting pre-sold season tix and considering it was a "sell out"... but lots of season tic holders around me were no shows and looked to be quite a few on the 1st base side. |
