Loved MP's quote... "... beginning to see why they have a .985 fielding percentage." Clearly a 2B and E

@*#(*% taking WAAAAAY too many called strikes, leaving too many on base, this will come back to bite us if not better. Frustrating!!!! Now stupid puppies have something going.

Good news is we've been at our best when we fall behind. Let's hope this provides the sense of urgency we were lacking earlier.

Beamer is one of best P the Beavs have seen this year. WHIP of about 1.0 and BA against at about .190. Huskies are fundamentally sound, especially with their plate approach. If Beavers advance to a Super Regional and Omaha, they'll see a lot more P like him, and teams like the Huskies down the road.

The frustration has been that both OSU hitters and pitchers have been trying to adjust to the strike zone they see being called. The 2 go-ahead runners both took pitches at the bottom of the zone just inside or outside on 2-strike counts that were called strike 3 to Grettler, Madrigal, Grenier and Larnach with RISP. I wish our guys were more aggressive or at least protective on those pitches, but you can't really blame them when they see the same location called a ball in the bottom half. Especially Luke hit the locations and was penalized for it.

Just can't get our s%#te together, making dumb mistakes all night. If your going to choke one, I'd rather it be to Gonzaga and not friggin Meggs.

Of all the games to throw away because of a lack of timely hitting and one huge error, this was not the one.

Damn, I thought Gretler's hit would get through likewise. 2B made a great play. 1B was no slouch either on the short hop.

I hope that one sticks in the craw of these kids, they gave it away basically. Put on our big boy pants tomorrow and kick their Meggs. They are thinking they are friggin world beaters right now, showing zero respect but that's what puppies do. I'm sure if you asked them they would think the Beavs are nothings, take it personally guys.

Damn, I thought Gretler's hit would get through I thought so too but I still can't figure out why players dive at the base when it has been proven staying on your feet will get you there faster. Now, it appeared he still would have been out but we will never know for sure. Streak was going to end sometime. Still had a chance to tie the game in the end.
