Cougs.
But wait, there's more. One recruiting "expert" suggests he's likely to transfer to OSU within a year. LOL

HAHAHA what a mess. OSU to Nebraska to Cougs...to be continued. Hope he does well except when he plays us. Hope our newly acquired DB's and LB's don't allow him a single reception all 4 years he plays against us.

Not saying he isn't a good kid or that we wouldn't love having him here, but he seems like a conflicted kid. At least we're Nebraska...they apparently were stood up twice as Jarmire flipped more often than an Olympic gymnast!

WDWHA* *We Didn't Want Him Anyway** ** The battle cry of jilted college fans since the beginning of the internet. I agree. But I also think this is one of the rare times it is kinda valid. Kid is actively coming off as a prima donna and a flake. Not going with Nebraska isn't a surprise really. they signed a stacked WR class and given how he has acted, academic problems would not surprise me.

He initially picked a Beaver hat over ALABAMA.. Let that sink in for a minute. If you're going to spend 4 years playing football in the middle of nowhere - Tuscaloosa > Pullman

Having difficulty making the most important decision of a 17 year old's young life does not make them a primadonna or a flake, regardless of whether his grades are shaky or not. Just my .02

I made great decisions as a 17 year old... It's the decisions I make NOW that are questionable

If you're going to spend 4 years playing football in the middle of nowhere - Tuscaloosa > Pullman Well unless you're a 4/5* difference maker in a position of need (if bama has one) your wise to think twice about them. They over recruit or try for last minute big flips/signings all the time. Then have a habit of telling kids there is no schollie left for them. See the 4* stud this year who announced in Paris... suddenly no scholly... will grey shirt and enter under next years class. Would be a huge get for most programs but even being screwed he stuck with bama.

This entire sport---industry rather is off the rails. Sit home and make a good quality decision with your parents.

Cougs. But wait, there's more. One recruiting "expert" suggests he's likely to transfer to OSU within a year. LOL I wouldn't want him, now. That's the breaks, kid. I watched part of MR's signing day press conference earlier and when he was asked about Calvin he shook his head and said something to the effect that he's been doing this a long time and that particular recruitment was something like he'd never experienced before. Said the kid committed to him on 3 separate occasions. He and his family also came to Nebraska outside their official visit and had to pay their own way out there. He was totally surprised to see him sign with WSU and pretty disappointed since the kid had recently confirmed his decision. You could see he was pretty frustrated by how it played out, and he was about to say more to the reporters about it and then said, he should just stop and leave it at that. Using the Scout rankings, had he stuck with his commitment Nebraska's class would have edged out Penn State at 14th. Likewise WSU's class would have finished a spot or two behind ours instead of 4 spots ahead. That's not insignificant to fans at a place like Nebraska, but it does show how silly it all is when one flakey kid can have that kind of effect on a classes overall ranking.

The rankings are UTTERLY stupid and meaningless! See here for more: bennyshouse.com/post/29828/thread
