I saw a thing online about how the Pac-12 should offer Utah to come back, so they do not have to put up with Big 12 officiating anymore. That was a hatchet job. |

Holy War is the name of the Brigham Young v. Utah rivalry. I know what you're thinking, though. How can Brigham Young v. Utah call their rivalry game a name derived from the Crusades, but Oregon v. Oregon State cannot be called The Great Oregon Civil War? And the answer is very simple. It is because Oregon State is stupid. |

I can find no reference to the term "Holy War" in any of Utah's official pre- or postgame notes. It is universally called the "rivalry game." Is Utah stupid? Doesn't stop most fans calling it the Holy War. Just as most OSU fans still call the game against Oregon the Civil War. |
