Another poor shooting game for TVO, but she did some stat sheet stuffing w/ 6 reb, 7 assists and 3 steals. USC scored more in Q1 (40) than Cal Poly did the entire game (35).

On a team as talented as USC she is a compilatory role player. At best their 4th scoring option. I’ll wager NO ONE on that team is a bigger drama-queen, however. Juju is a monk, in comparison….

It's only 2 games, but Talia is averaging 22 minutes per game / 2 pts per game / 5 assists / 10% Field Goal % / 0% 3pt %.
If she doesn't pick it up.....USC is pretty deep. Lots of young guards on the roster.

"truly talented"? Who is going to decide who that is? You? I don't care who that is, I'm looking all of the players who left. Destiny- Pretty much identical to playing at OSU. Morris- Totally bombed after leaving OSU. Taya- Got hurt and never really got a chance at Duke. Brown- Overall a little worse at Duke than at OSU. Jones- Pretty much the same. Little better here, little worse there. Sasha- Sick, but overall worse. Savannah- Worse with no improvements. Greta- Went from a starter to a benchwarmer. And for good reason. Shalexx- Pretty much everything downhill. They all either stayed the same or got worse. Lol... first, you have zero idea how any player would have progressed if they stayed put. It's just fabricated 20/20 hindsight on how they did elsewhere. Sasha... far more than just "sick" than Taya "injured", yet you think one was excusable?! Lol Second, as mentioned none were really any more than they turned out to be. HS hype coming in was high for some, but never showed in D1 ball. SR's fault? So, how you perceive the play elsewhere may have zero to do with the other coaches. Another example... "Starter"... so? Greta was a 5 & 2 player. She went to a good program, played less (2/2), like she would have if she stayed. Third... "and mostly they have done markedly worse." Not true... Of course your definition of "markedly" seems to be bias to try and prove some point SR is superior to ??. PS- Beers at 18/11 tonight... at the half. "Markedly"... "fabricated 20/20 hindsight" Huh, that's an interesting concept. Sasha vs Taya, um ok, they both were worse after leaving OSU. "Greta was a 5 & 2 player." Sorry, I'm too stupid to know what that means. Greta would have played less if she stayed at OSU? You have an amazing ability to see into alternate realities. Beers first game with OSU was 22/11 and her first game with the Okies was 21/14. Not so markedly anything. The Okies shoot way more than OSU, it'd be really odd if she didn't end up with more rebounds this year. One of us has a chip on their shoulder about Scott and one of us just likes to watch basketball and see players develop. Hmm, I wonder which of us is which.

5'11" Gr. Master's: Entrepreneurship & Innovation (taken from her USC bio page) Sounds like a fun Masters Program. I miss the heck out of her. My impression is she contributed lots to our OSU program on and off the court. She's a teamer, meaning plays a team style of play when she's on the court.

And, the falsehood of your claim has zero to do with SR.

And, no matter one's take on her "talent" or "contribution" obviously a very, very talented team thought enough of her to encourage/accept her into their locker room. Really that's all that matters. How she or her team performs can't be intelligently compared to her last season at OSU. Two completely different teams, situations, seasons.

I really have no hard feelings towards Talia for her move to USC. She graduated high school early to come to OSU and help our team. I was there when she nailed the game-winning three against UCLA last year. I’d invited several friends to that game and they all said that that was the greatest sporting event they had ever attended. I remember seeing Kiki Rice pound the floor after she couldn’t transition fast enough to alter the shot. That was after nailing Raegan with an elbow to the nose in the first half. Lots of great memories over the last few years.
