OSU Fall Baseball is underway. Every Autumn brings unknowns - graduation, the MLB Draft and the new transfer rules all create uncertainty with the roster. With 44 players competing this fall there are questions to be answered. Maybe we can start with these five.
1. Who leads off? 2. Who ties down the 3rd OF position? 3. Who will be the 3rd guy in the rotation? 4. Who closes? 5. Who is the newcomer with the biggest impact?

1. Leads off? Arquette 2. 3rd OF position? Talt/Reeder platoon 3. 3rd guy rotation? Whitney 4. Who closes? Palmer (just have a funny feeling about it....) 5. Newcomer with the biggest impact? Arquette
My projected lineup for some extra fun: 1. Arquette 2. Caraway 3. Macias 4. Turley 5. Weber 6. Kreig 7. Peterson/Jones (DH) 8. Reeder/Talt 9. Trosky

Not necessarily a fall ball question but I am worried about the home games schedule. We are starting to information on road games but nothing about games at Goss. I think quantity and quality of opponent are going to be a problem, a lot of directional schools.

I think quantity and quality of opponent are going to be a problem, a lot of directional schools. That’s just a reality of our current situation. Do we lose relevance, kill recruiting, and damage our national image just to join a conference like the WCC? Or do we play independent ball, schedule some big boy games across the country, increase our national exposure, continue to recruit at an elite level, but lose some home games in the process? For some it’s a tough choice. I guarantee for Canham and company the choice was easy.

Since our weather is s%#t first half of the season, might as well travel to nice weather destinations as much as possible, early. Try to have more home series late in season.

Except we're not getting "more" home series... period. Good teams late in a conference season aren't traveling to Corvallis for a series. Until I see the actual home slate the rumor is it'll be fairly weak with maybe 6-9 less home games. Supposedly some conracts that were sure things, weren't. So, there is still a wait and see and some scrambling. But, our best opponents will be on the road.

Man, not getting a lot of great news on the sports front today It's been "wait & see" for quite some time. A ton of rumors, most no where near the mark. So... we'll all continue to wait and see?! But, no reason to borrow worry as my Mom used to say!

So with fewer games at home, all against lesser competition, is the athletic department going to charge season tickets at the same price like last season? Because charging less just seems to make too much sense.

Because charging less just seems to make too much sense. I suppose it depends on whether you want to maintain a top-25 program or not. Many people here seem adamant we maintain that status. I suppose it has happened somewhere but off the top of my head I can't remember the last time a program improved by having less revenue and fewer resources.
