Let’s start with the first reason, they are directly outside the stadium 2 hours before a game, 3 very expensive cars with very large men get involved in the stop and not one cop is smart enough to figure out they are dealing with the whole Dolphins team. Fire them just for complete lack of situational awareness.
The second reason, every single opportunity they had to de-escalate the situation they did the exact opposite and escalated it. Hill kept trying to de-escalate….just write me my ticket, etc, and they weren’t having it.
Third reason, hand tattoos on the cop. This cop is trying to intimidate the public as soon as he shows up, gotta show the gangsters that he is more gangster. Just unprofessional bs.

So he should’ve been just able to reckless drive and not follow police instructions because he’s a pro athlete? He didn’t follow instructions and the cops overreacted. I see fault on both sides. But, firing them because they didn’t know he was a Dolphin player would be stupid and just would encourage pro athletes to think they are above the law. Many of them already do.

“How fast”?
Both sides are entitled to due process. So it’s not gonna be fast - if at all (presuming the cops acted lawfully).

Have you watched the body cam footage? He followed every instruction they gave him, clearly not as fast as they wanted, but he followed every instruction. Some of their instructions are pretty questionable, rolling your window down gives them a chance to search your vehicle without your consent(literally stick their nose in his business). My understanding is you dont have to roll your window down, and Hill probably knew this, they can order him out, but they cant order the window down, ever. Keep the window closed, even after you get out. I've watched, they should be fired.

You're typically not to get out unless requested. Haven't watched the footage, no reason to care to, but did he exit the vehicle without consent/being asked??

He was complying with legitimate orders.

No matter your race, creed, citizenship or income - if you drive a car with gull-wing doors you deserve to be persecuted.

I see both sides at fault. Hill wasn't following orders as quickly as he should have so the officers went a little over. Give him his ticket, cops should get suspended. Also somebody earlier said the officers shoukd have known he was a pro football player. Hill is kind of a smallish guy.

thread is mighty close to political in nature... Only if you read into it that way. It’s about a police stop, nothing more.

Right or wrong, you just don't mess around with the cops. Do what they tell you to do. Sue their ass later.

Part the whole window isssue is that I’m 99.9% sure that his window tint was so dark (illegally so) they couldn’t see in the car.
