Holy s%#t, Oregon looked like a team full of mercs who got their bags and checked out. Pardon my ignorance but what’s a “merc”? I thought it was an outboard boat motor but that doesn’t fit this context. mercenary |

LSU-SC was a great game. Big time players. Big plays. I didn’t have a dog in the fight, so just enjoyed the game.

Pulling for LSU feels terrible I was thinking the same thing! As much as I loathe LSU as a school, I can never root for USC.....unless they are playing hole......but that doesn't really count. |

Seeing USC and how fit their very talented players were last night was kind of shocking. Did they just not use S&T for a decade to sink the pac 12? They looked absolutely capable of taking on the SEC physically. |

They looked absolutely capable of taking on the SEC physically. Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, Clay Helton, Steve Sarkisian, Clay Helton again, and Donte Williams. For those playing at home, that is five different head coaching changes in an eight-year period. Lincoln Riley was hired less than three years ago and seems to have relatively-quickly righted the ship. USC announced that they were joining the Big Ten before Riley ever coached a game. It was kind of a rough 14 years post-Carroll, but Riley seems to have turned things around. Good for the Big Ten, though. They deserve a USC firing on all cylinders. |
