I just flipped on Penn State at West Virginia. I don't think there are half the seats occupied. If there is, it's barely. I would have guessed that having Penn State visit would be a huge draw. I was clearly wrong.

It's a pretty ignored side story but many fans simply cannot afford tickets. The price of a GameDay has become a pretty serious luxury activity. Most families and many working class people no longer have the disposable income to be milked by the unstoppable greed machine when they can have a perfectly nice day, watch the game from their couch and carry on.
I would expect this to become more and more obvious with smaller fan bases in traditionally lower income areas.

That game was delayed at halftime due to thunderstorms in the area and the stadium was evacuated .... guess everyone hasn't made it back into the game from their chosen shelter areas lol

Texas has 248 yards passing. Silas has no catches.

Martinez is playing for Miami. Had some carries early- looked good. Not much since then looks like he will the #2 back there as the back that has been getting all the carries is really shining.

UConn showing why they deserve a B12 invite, falling behind 30-0 before losing 50-7 to Maryland. Hmmm

Ended up being a 2+ hour delay; I imagine even before the game was suspended the looming forecast kept people at home too

#4 has been toting the rock lately. Hadn’t seen Martinez in a while……maybe they decided they didn’t need 6 to beat the gators.
