UK at 3 seems generous too..but we lost to them..so maybe 9 ain't so far off? Final rankings are basically a reset of the SR |

C'mon, man! Be a fan. The only teams that arguably had a better season than Oregon State behind Oregon State are Arkansas, Clemson, and Georgia. There is no way that Florida and NC State should be ranked ahead of Oregon State. Definitely a top 10 team. Got screwed with the Super Regional seeding. If they could have reseeded the Supers, Oregon State probably would have been through to Omaha. Instead, Kentucky nipped Oregon State by a run at home. And I will continue to say that Oregon State probably beats Kentucky at a neutral site most weekends. Obviously, not that weekend in Lexington, though. The season plays out completely differently, if you flip one of the one-run losses throughout the season. But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. |

Three hits in two games happened to 2007 Oregon State in May in Corvallis. Nuff said. |

I don't disagree with you, you make the final 8 you deserve your ranking. But I also don't think anyone would've argued the 2021 MBB team deserved a top 8 ranking with their elite eight run either. Many were just happy to have a spot in the final polls (around 20 or 21 I believe it was). #9 is probably about right, you could argue probably as high as #7 and as low as #11-12. Surprised oregon was ranked as high as they were. |

I think 9 is generous. We didn't win the league or the pac12 tourney in a relatively weak league.

Nipped by a run? We got boat raced in the first game, and put up a goose egg......the bad OSU showed up for that one. And we got "nipped by a run" that scored from second on a wild pitch/passed ball. Keljo reverted back to little league and forgot he was playing a legit SEC team. As for beating Tucky at a natural site, I dunno man. I think I'd take Tucky in that one. At Goss, sure, we probly win, but thats just it, you gotta win away from home to bring home the trophy. |
