Aww you can't pick seats. Also not the sections I usually sit in for a couple of games. Bummer Long wait for single game tickets I guess Plus, not even guaranteed a section or row. Plus it is a farce of pricing. For those of us that have been involved with tickets in multiple sections. For example, the (3) game "mini" with Oregon is more than a Season ticket in the VV. If you are going to do a "mini" the best buy is premium as you get to forgo the crazy seat license fees for those sections. But, as it has been the last few years, single game tickets will be readily available. As stated from the "inside" the OSU ticket office might be one of the worst run "businesses" on campus with very little thinking that's outside a 25 year old box. Patience, July 29th, 9am. You'll be able to get seats in spots from 40 to 40 on the West side (300 level is awesome, BUT be above row 4 to avoid the railing being in your sight line). That is how we will add to our season tix.

Too bad the Oregon game is a required purchase. Ewww. Lol! I am going to find it hilarious to watch Reser Stadium filled to the brim with green and yellow morons, because Oregon State's fans' feelings are still hurt. And then when Oregon State loses in embarrassing fashion in front of a hostile crowd on Fox.............. Glorious! Chef's kiss! Might as well blow up the rest of the stadium and pave it over................

I purchased my season tickets again as I have for almost 20 years, and will gleefully be booing the slug eaters on the 14th of September.
Doesn't mean I agree with the decision to schedule them - it has everything to do with supporting the team, no matter who they play. I would just be glad for the foreseeable future (10 years maybe?) that the university not schedule them. But, of course, YMMV

If you don't respect my opinion, I understand. If you count my value as a Beaver fan by whether or not I attend the Oregon game, well, that's pretty damned shortsighted.

I do not think that my extreme response was geared toward you. I would say that Dr. Strangelove got the post across a lot better than a lot less extreme movies. I think that we may be seeing three years off from 2026-2028, so you may be getting your wish. But I am very concerned that y'all:

With the new league, opportunities to watch the team play without a trip across the country will be few.
As one of the poorer Beaver fan, I'd much rather pick 3 games that are within my budget than the expensive Duck game.

Unfortunately a poorer duck fan will have no problem paying whatever the fee is for a 3 game mini plan that gets them into reser.

For all those beaver fans that cry in their beer telling everyone how the ducks are going to kick our butts. They just might. On the other hand it sure would be nice to be sitting in reser and let the duck fans know that there will be no natty for them.

I may be tilting at windmills, but if TB is the real deal, and we manage to hang a big "L" on the ducks again this year, it may be that Oregon is the one to puts the kibosh on future games.
Think about it - we know that the SEC and B1G love to schedule cupcake games OOC - if hole sees us as a serious threat on any given year, they may decide to pass on future games, to not jeopardize their record. Given all of the hand wringing on this board about whether or not to continue the CW, I would find that to be amusing, if it ever happened!

Oregon travels to Corvallis, Pasadena, West Lafayette, Ann Arbor, and Madison. Ann Arbor and Madison in November. Yuck! Those could be just awful trips. And Pasadena in September. Just awful! If I were Oregon, I would try and get the Big Ten to agree to let them play UCLA/USC later in the year and play cross-country trips earlier. And USC is scheduled to play in Seattle in November. It is hilarious how the Big Ten just dumped on the four Pac-12 teams. Oregon starts with games against Idaho on the Big Ten Network and Boise on the Peacock. The Civil War will be Oregon's first game on real TV. Hopefully, the Beavs can embarrass the Ducks in the Ducks' first game on national television. On the other side, Oregon State plays on the CW and the CBS Sports Network in the first two games. Then Fox and the CW again. CW, CBS Sports Network, and CW in the three games after the bye. I think that Disney has the first right to any ACC game. But I think that the CW has a right to show one ACC game that weekend. Having said that, I think that CW cannot show Cal and Oregon State. Oregon State ends on the CW, CBS Sports Network, the CW, and Fox. Hopefully, Oregon State puts up monster TV numbers this year, so the Beavs have some great numbers to negotiate with after the season ends.

Last year, the Big Ten played the fewest games against FCS teams and the second-most Power Five opponents behind only the ACC. The SEC played the most games against FCS teams. The SEC loves to schedule cupcake games OOC. The Big Ten typically plays more difficult non-conference schedules than Pac-12 teams.
