In this day and age of power conference baseball results are needed NOW. not in 10 years.
It has been Five years, Canham has a 4-9 record vs the SEC, a 13-10(soon to be 13-11) post season record. Those are not good records.
In short, Canham just isn’t the guy to get us to Omaha. If ya just want a winning seasons, with a quick post season exit, then sure he’s your guy.
But If ya want Championships, then Ya gotta dump the money out for a Proven Veteran Championship winning College Baseball Coach.
Canham Isnt the guy to get us a natty. Time to move on to a Proper College Baseball coach who can.
Beavers DESERVE their NATTYS in Baseball. We’re a Blue Blood Baseball Program afterall.
Don’t settle for Less, Demand the Best!!

Getting rid of Mitch as we head into being an independent team would be the absolute worst thing we could do. It would kill the program.

Hes never missed the post season in eligible seasons. Has the best winning percentage of any coach in our history, and recruits well. Some of our fans are as delusional as natty chasing ducks. |

Every team has them, but these last few season have been damn unbearable. People bitching about winning 40+ games and acting like we should be in Omaha every season.

I guess the only thing worse is when it's combined with lame excuses. A game is 27 or more outs... not an umpire, the portal, NIL $, nor some conspiracy etc... had lost us games. Every team has breaks go for and against them. Every team has players who come thru clutch and others who don't. Every team has a staff who has to make key spur of the moment decisions without 20/20 hindsight. It's all part of the same game. When more things align than don't you get Omaha trips. When there it begins all over, from 0-2, to champions. To get to the post season a team needs to beat good and excellent teams. Once there it begins all over and every team is capable. Don't play your best, expect to get beat. |
