That game changed on the stupid safety squeeze attempt. Bases loaded, 1-out, with meat of the order coming. Why would you take the bat out of McDowell’s hands? Dude is hitting .400 and he’s pretty unlikely to hit into a DP. Really dumb call. Then UK immediately scores 2 more and the ball game was over from there. Because we have 1 hit, we were down 1 and their 1B was playing 30 feet behind the bag.... Then square up and bunt it, instead of trying to drag it. If you're going to bunt, bunt. |

Palmer is pitching well. Granted it is m up time, but he is making the best of his opportunities Better mix of speed and location than when he was getting shelled. Good to see he has developed while out of the rotation. |
