If Oregon State wins two in Lexington, you have the Georgia/NC State winner. After that you have one of Clemson/Florida/Oregon/Texas A&M. |

I never ever want the ducks to reach Omaha. Be great if A&M could crush them.in two.  Too late to stop Oregon from ever reaching Omaha. Oregon went to the 1954 College World Series. The Ducks wore throwbacks this year in honor of the 70th anniversary. |

I just tweeted something very similar about Oregon just a few minutes ago lol Great minds think alike I guess After Meggs' 2016 shenanigans, I thought that Oregon State spotting Washington a 3-0 5th inning lead and 5-4 6th inning lead just to come back and win 14-5 after the rain delay was a particularly glorious way for Oregon State to kickoff its four straight do-or-die wins to the Championship Series. |

I never ever want the ducks to reach Omaha. Be great if A&M could crush them.in two. In addition to my usual loathing of the Ducks, there's one other very important issue. This is the very last NCAA event that will see teams from the self destructed PAC 12. The last 2 standing before the curtain drops forever are the faithful but grossly mistreated Oregon State Beavers and the traitorous Oregon Ducks. I dearly want us to be the very last team ever representing the most successful conference in NCAA history. Then, no matter how it ends, whenever it does end, I'd like to see all the players and coaches gather at the pitcher's mound, hoist their middle fingers, and shout a boisterous 'f%#* you!' to the ten departing traitors. I know I'll have only my dreams to experience the latter, but the former is a very real possibility. Make it so, Mitch! |
